I finally went to Paris last month! I went to watch tennis, but I had a lot of time to walk around too. It was fun! I had lunch with some people in a brasserie for two hours, haha. I really enjoyed Paris in May.

A lovely video. I have visited Paris and the Montmartre district several times and it is very beautiful, but much of it so crowded and so many people. The last time I was almost knocked down a set of steps by a thief who had snatched a woman’s handbag at the top. However, that charcuterie looked absolutely amazing. Not having a ‘sweet tooth’ that shop is a place of my dreams, but I have been lucky enough to enjoy a similar perfect steak with bearnaise sauce and French salad always tastes so much better than anything I’ve had in uk.

5区の「Le Petit Pontoise」は試してみたいとリストアップしていました。良質な食材をシンプルかつ丁寧に仕上げた料理、場所にしては比較的良心的な価格でコストパフォーマンスが高そうと思っていたところ、今回の動画で間違いない!と確信しました。昨年11月に訪仏した際はパリ、ヴェルサイユ、サン＝ジャン=カップ=フェラに滞在したため、各地でお気に入りを再訪することを優先、新規開拓はお預けとなりました。パリでは「La Relais Plaza」や6区の「Le Cristine」などを再訪、期待通り大満足でした。フランスの外食は一皿の量が多いので、ホテルでしっかり朝食をとると、ランチかディナーのどちらかで二皿、三皿食べるとお腹いっぱい、滞在中に訪問できるお店の数も限られてしまいますね。
サーモン、本当にふっくら旨味が詰まっているようで美味しそうです。肉も魚介類も強火で熱を通すと旨味が出てしまうので、皮を焼いた後グリルでじっくり熱を通す、納得です。最近は低温調理が人気があり、ローストビーフやローストポークも500g位までの大きさであれば、ジップロックなどにお肉をいれて、熱湯を入れた炊飯器の保温モードで一時間弱、美味しく仕上がります。検索するとレシピが出てきますので、機会があればお試しください。
今回のタルトタタン、どちらも美味しそうです。「Le Café de l'Epoque」の方は以前の動画でも試してみたいと思いました。私も「デザートはタルトタタンがいいなぁ」で、メニューにある時は注文することが多いです。他には洋ナシとキャラメルクリームのタルトも好物です。
私事ですが、来年から二回目のNY勤務になる可能性が高く、少々慌ただしくなる予感、残念ながら今年の訪仏は難しく来年以降になりそうです...。

A lovely video. I have visited Paris and the Montmartre district several times and it is very beautiful, but much of it so crowded and so many people. The last time I was almost knocked down a set of steps by a thief who had snatched a woman’s handbag at the top. However, that charcuterie looked absolutely amazing. Not having a ‘sweet tooth’ that shop is a place of my dreams, but I have been lucky enough to enjoy a similar perfect steak with bearnaise sauce and French salad always tastes so much better than anything I’ve had in uk.

Montmartre is one of our favourite districts in Paris, it's very crowded but as soon as you go behind Montmartre, it's less crowded and more pleasant 😇 We're continuing our tests in the district because there's so much to see.

自分の知っている風景を別の人の目線で見る不思議さもありますよね😊🎵
６月に入ってからの気候はいくぶん暖かくなりましたが、朝は10°前後の気温からのスタートで肌寒く日中になると20°に届くかどうかという感じ、日によっては汗ばむほどの気温にもなります。
タルトタタンはリンゴをたっぷり使った贅沢なデザート、レストランによっては扱っていないので見つけると嬉しくなりますね。

そういえば、ずいぶん前にLaduréeの“あれ”も食べたことありますが、ここ数年は、前を通ったときに見かけませんでした。もう作っていないのかもしれないですね。凝ったつくりで自分の中での上位に入る“あれ”だったんですけどね。

Laduréeではわりと定番かもしれませんが、ローズ・サントノーレか、ローズ・ルリジューズが私は好きですよ💗
テーブルウェア好きなので、今回はキッチン用品の店を見られて良かったです。昔20年前に、2度目のパリで初めてパリ訪れた友人がお皿を爆買いしてました。今はもうどこにでも買える四角いお皿とかです。まだ未だに使ってるようです。
