I was actually testing this tonight myself and I was still surprised that Rust at R5 does more than Aqua. I even tested Skyward Harp as a mid option and it didn’t compare.
Yes, rust R5 increase 80% normal attack damage meanwhile aqua good for yoimiya because high crit damage
@@brominator Appreciate it all the same! If I had seen your video before testing this myself it would’ve saved me some time. Thankfully though I’m pretty solid when it comes to making team comps.
Rust does more damage than Aqua but if you're playing with a set where her burst is involved, Aqua works better cos it buffs everything about her not just her normal attacks like rust does.

If you're comparing DMG between weapons, I suggest at least comparing raw DMG before adding elemental reactions.
that doesnt make any sense, people will not do solo runs. Also bennett is important for aqua cause lower base atk

Hey i think it's a bit wrong for Slingshot that it was used with a CR hat making cr 100+
CD hat would've made it's CR balanced equal to Rust Aqua and then it would've been fair comparison
Anyways if the Slingshot did that much without the CD hat there, shows it can deal more too with cd hat
The thing is, 100% cr is much better compared to 80, the dps loss from the missed crits is massive
(Edit) add to that the favt that they used a 20% cr buff which makes slingshot even more valuable as a f2p option
@@denden6316 80% crit rate is already high and if there's a chance that it wouldn't crit - it's so low because that usually happens only on 50% crit with a 1:3 ratio. using a weapon with a crit rate stat, crit rate food, and a crit rate circlet is definitely overkill and a huge dps loss.

@@bookstriker194 and even with my 72% CR, I would only see 1 or very rarely 2 non crits per rotation. In my opinion, 80+ is overkill for yoimiya, it’s better to just make that 20% cr to 300% CD lmao

Aside from bennet, none of those pjs apport anything to the comparison... I would prefer to see a Yun Jin cuz slingshot adds a whole multiplicative layer on top of her buff as it does with Bennet ult att buff.
So if you don't have Rust R5, use Slingshot. Basically Its:
Rust R1-R4 < Slingshot R5 < Aqua R1 < Rust R5 < Thundering Pulse R1

General stats: 2,432 Atk, EM: 0, Crit rate: 71.9%, Crit dmg: 185.2%, ER: 0, Pyro dmg bonus: 46.6%. WITHOUT YOIMIYA BASE CRIT RATE (47.8%).
4 piece Shimenawa’s set btw.

Good stat but try to reach golden ratio and EM is very important if you wanna do vaporize damage, maybe you can use EM sands instead of atk sands? and you don't have zhongli?

Can I use echo set instead of shime on Yoimiya? I want to see her burst. Or the dmg will be decrease?
Yes, you can if you wanna do pyro damage only, for vaporize damage i suggest using shimenawa for consistency
You can use her burst with the right team rotation. I always use mine after the duration of her skill. Then let her teammates proc her burst's passive and create enough particles to fill again her burst. I think you can also use her burst 1st then bring out all the skill/burst of your other characters then use Yoimiya again to use her skill, given she has enough ER so that she can have atleast 15 energy.
Maybe it’s just me but you really shouldn’t use buffs or supports when showcasing weapon dmgs.

I got Aqua Simulacra too instead of PJWS. But since I have R1 Rust and R1 Skyward Harp, I'll probably take the Rust.
My yoimiya has r5 slingshot cuz i dont have a single rust..
Should I pull for yelan or weapon banner for yoimiya cuz if I lost 50/50 on weapon,I can give homa to hutao and if luckily I can have more rust refinement too.(NOW I have only r1 rust) which will have more dmg between yealan and 5 star weapon. (For the support:I use thoma c4 with nobless set as shield ;no zhongkli ,xingqiu c6,yunjin c6,fischl c6)
Yelan is a must pull for yoimiya main, yelan can be sub dps on hutao team and hyperbloom team. R1 rust with yelan on yoimya team is a good option for now, you will get R5 rust eventually. Good luck on your yelan pull :)

Not much difference between R1 and R5 rust. CMIIW is correct me if im wrong, calculate all yoimiya dmg. If your f2p, i suggest to pull yelan first then pull on weapon banner after you get yelan, yelan only obtainable through limited banner meanwhile rust can be obtain via limited, weapon and standard banner. Yelan passive give buff to on field char, thats why yelan a must pull for yoimiya main.

Yoimiya R1 rust with xingqiu almost reached 600K per 1 elemental skill, is that enough for you? :)

Yes, Rust bis 4 star weapon for yoimiya, depending on your artifact if you already have enough crit rate and crit dmg you can use rust, 70/140 is minimal stat for her

@mrl : First, try it on maguu kenki or masanori, how many time ur yoimiya crit per 1 elemental skill, n3 and n5 is important, if n3 and n5 not always crit hit you should change ur artifact, more crit rate is important for yoimiya so 70/140 is minimal stat for her
@@brominator from what i noticed, E skill 1st and 3rd hit mostly crit, 5th hit depends. Im struggling to get good artifacts for her. My goblet temporarily using atk percent with no crit value. perhaps i can get pyro bonus with crit rate substate

Make sure you always use goblet off piece, sometimes from other domain you can get elemental dmg bonus, keep farming you will get good artifact eventually :)

What is better in personal damage
R2 rust with 60/200 crcd or r5slingshot with 90/200 cr cd
Rust better than slingshot because of high attack, try to reach 70 or 80 crit rate and you're good to go. But you can use slingshot with 90/200 until you get good artifact.

R1 rust is enough, but you can try to pull aqua so you can get rust to R5 :)

Thundering pulse bis 5* weapon for yoimiya, aqua is good because high crit dmg , rust R5 better than aqua R1 with the same stat. I think you should save for thundering.

Depending on crit damage stat on your artifact, if you already have high crit dmg ex 160-180% you can use rust R1, but if you lack crit dmg on your artifact you can use aqua bow R1.

I hope all people who say Yoimiya is the worst 5star bow get their mouth shut now...
She still is.
Tartaglia, Ganyu, Yelan, Venti all outperform her. Yelan and Venti deal less damage of course, but they are supports so it isn't a 1:1 comparison. However Venti and Yelan are some of the best supports in the game while Yoimiya is one of the worst dedicated DPS units, especially compared to other Pyro DPS units.
Of course this is all at C0/low constellations. At C6 part of me wants to say Yoimiya is ine of the most powerful units. Her constellations lean so hard into buffing her normal attacks that they become rediculous at C6.
@@envytee9659 they're all good clearing multiple mobs but in single target Yoimiya is better than Childe and Ganyu
