Yeah the leases on the Treasure Coast like Ft. Pierce to Sebastian Inlet are a joke. It shouldn't be possible for anybody or any company to lease the waters from the state. Those waters should be open to everyone. And get this, laws say you can't disturb the sand while looking for underwater treasure. Ok then why was Mel Fisher allowed to use his "invention" which he called "the mailbox" to blow away 3 to 4 feet of sand? You can't dig your own hole a few inches deep but this guy used a freakin sandblaster and somehow that's ok? What a joke.
Very excited to see each item uncovered, especially when it could be worth several hundred thousand dollars worth! I’ll be there in a few weeks doing the same hunting!🎉
To much renourish sand on that beach, I was out during the storm in Ft Pierce and grabbed a 1600s coin on a beach that was down to hard pan. Look me up next time your over here.

Find the areas along A1A you can park at. Side of the road. No Park. Then u can hunt at your hearts content. You’ll see those areas. You can tell people park there. You’ll see the trails where people walk to the beach. A lot of beach Hunter use these as parking is not enforced in these areas.
I’ve been longing to visit Florida to detect for some old cobs coins there is a few beaches around the tip of Florida that have produced some old coins in the 1600sand older
I don't think it's legal to detect in the water at Vero Beach. you can detect at the low tide mark or up to the dunes, but not the dunes, so be careful going in the water you could get in trouble. Treasure hunters lease the ocean there and you can't go in the water to metal detect.

People have lost all off their gear, even boats, detecting in the water in Vero Beach. You can get a subcontractor license from the lease holder, but don’t think you won’t pay the price if you don’t. The authorities will check if you’re on this list and they have full authority to arrest violators. Stay above the water line at all times and you are safe from the lease police.
Small earring studs fall through the holes. I have found several small diamonds by pulling sand to the bank. I teach if you are interested. The old guys that find 20 rings a year are all still muffed by my 200. I’m at 202 and didn’t even try. Every 3rd one gold💪😎❤️Thanks for watching
That was a bust I can only imagine if somebody came and took your metal detectors cuz you were in the water Priceless to see the look on your face when the police come and take your metal detector cuz you didn't get a permit and then you got back to your car cuz you were late explaining to the police what you were doing and you get back to your vehicle cuz you're late and they give you a ticket or towed your car I can't wait to go to Vero Beach and maybe you should have wore masks because it's still illegal to walk on the beach without one

I walked over 2 miles to get to a particular spot. Then had to walk back. Park closed at sunset

I find it odd that you walk up the beach, out of the water to tip out sand and spread it around when you can turn around and wash the scoop.
