Hey! I’m from WA and you’re so right - we have such a huge shortage of yarn stores!😢hence me searching for good yarn stores online on TH-cam ! I just started knitting and crocheting again, after a few years off, this winter and i found Text & Co - LOVE the store, the owner and the other assistant there! So lovely! Unfortunately they had no more Wool and the Gang in August ‘24 - maybe she’ll stock up for next winter! Unfortunately Cotton Rose has closed down before I could check it out😢. I’m going to Busselton soon so I’ll pop in at the wool store there. Thx for the info!
Lucky u to have the chance to touch Wool and the Gang yarn personally. I have trouble buying yarn online because I have high skin sensitivity so I need to squeeze and do an itch test before I buy. I would love to try their yarn.
I am so glad I am not the only one who thinks Noro yarn isn't soft! I keep seeing everyone make beautiful sweaters with it, but after feeling it at my local yarn store I just can't see myself using it. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that haha!
What an awesome podcast! I got to see some gorgeous places in Australia and hear all about the yarn shops. Now I'm dying to go to Perth too! The ocean looks amazing! What an awesome trip. I love the colors you choose for your projects. There are so many podcasters choosing neutral colors, and I know we need some neutrals, but not everything. I love your colors, keep it coming!
such a shame!! i didn’t realise yarnia had closed and was so excited to go (literally rocked up there and then realised it was online only and was so devo)
There has been one in Crossways Shopping Centre Subiaco for as long as I can remember. All types of yarn in hand dyed. They also have very friendly staff and classes.
Love hearing about our WA options as a new yarn fiend

glad you liked the video! haha you will pretty much never see me knitting with neutrals 🤭
@@jaime_creates There is a podcaster who only knits neutrals after one session of bland knitwear I was done.
Omg I'm from Perth and it honestly makes me so sad that we don't have many yarn stores 😭
