- Another year - but same story. Like clockwork - Delhi again has been engulfed in smog - triggering alarm bells. But beyond the 'emergency measures', blame game and temporary outrage - nothing changes and nothing solid gets done.
Till this date - Delhi Govt does not have data to show WHAT causes this crisis (so forget solving it)
But what allows political parties of all hues to take this issue for granted ?? What gives them so much confidence that they can just mock the people who are suffering??? That is the question we answer in this episode.

Well......There is no 'number' beyond which you should start questioning. Start by questioning the bigotry / hate / blindness on WhatsApp groups .... Start by sharing important articles .... Start by supporting good content on the web .... you don't have to start by questioning the govt.....just question the those around you - then keep working upwards.
It is wrong to believe small questions cannot bring a change - often they are the ones that set of an eventual tsunami. Your voice matters - Your questions matter - Speak up. For India.

I have friends who left FB and Twitter after being bullied repeatedly by Andhbhakts. They even received threats on their cell phones because which they had to change their numbers. Bhai ek baar baat ghar aur gharwalon tak aati hai toh achhe achho ki awaaz bandh ho kar deti hai. I am also of the opinion to raise your voice to bring in constructive criticism and speak of issues that 95% of the Indians has a problem with, but when you are being bullied or harassed, not even 0.95% would back you. Sad but reality, nahi.

I belong to a farmer family of haryana, we do stubble burning when we left with no options. But after watching your episode i got questions for myself and farming community as well. I don’t think political parties will ever going to help us but the farming community can help themselves by discovering substitutes to stubble burning. #i will ask more.
There is a famous farmer who has found the alternative for stubble burning. I think he is from Haryana or Punjab. He has a great solution for the alternative for stubble burning. Please try to google him and search him.
You can use stubble to make ethanol.

This is where the government needs to comes in. Another alternative can be the union but we all know what most of the unions are about in India.

I am from karnataka, the things you said are 💯 real no a politician cares about people and if some wants to do good things they are been kept aside by not listening and the main thing is in short politics = making fool out of people to win the election and Rule over the people make money for self no a single political party does good for people if they give you free they collect 100 times more then that from raising the prices of other sectors, the only thing people need to know is do not vote for party Vote for the person who does your work let no party gets majority and once if everyone is in less numbers they start fighting and give lots to people at that time people get benefits, if we vote for one party constant we will be slaves of them soon...because politics has gone too far now the stage is soo deep that every party wants to be in power if they fail their whole courier is gone n for that sake they are ready to make people a sheep ..

Being asthmatic, your video had a gentle touch on my wounded soul. No one bothers about air pollution. Indoor air pollution is worse. My sensors give reading of PM2.5 to more than 2000 (normal is below 50). Staying indoors is also not safe. And you made that valid point. No one talks about it. Hats off to you! A much needed episode. Having lived in Delhi for many years till recent relocation, I have experienced the horrifying pollution every year at this time of the year. I now realise the difference, and also how easily I had accepted it as a way of life in the capital. Indeed, we have to collectively question more.

Did really think this guy was totally biased from his previous, but the last few months of watching really prove that Mr Deskbhakh is one of the best commentary channels to watch. Good job!
IIT Kanpur study revealed that the burning of firecrackers was one of the least contributors to air pollution in Delhi, capital of India.
But, Supreme court refused to accept IIT Kanpur study showing that firecrackers are not even in list of top 15 contributors to air pollution.
I live in Delhi its worst to face this air quality and no one talks about this Air quality but really bro u built different thanks a lot

Sir, I have and will always question more. The only thing that aches my heart is that most matured educated individuals don't get this basic idea of what all are the actual 'them' in 'us versus them' , I do not get when will we start talking about these real issues, it really upsets me but thank you for this episode the entire Deshbhakt team. This was one of the major reasons I left Delhi. My son was always unwell during winters. And I am glad I made the best ever decision of my life. I know, not many care for pollution and such pathetic and dangerous situations in Delhi. People only blame, crib and watch late night primetime tamasha. One Day their own children will blame them for doing nothing.

Absolutely right, as usual. Grew up an asthmatic in India. Sometimes went out shouting on roads on Diwali nights: asking people to stop. No one wants to accept that pollution is a cumulative effect of all of the factors, and we can't just pick and choose and point in the other direction to avoid having to make sacrifices.
You and me both know that banning cracker in Delhi nothing to do with pollution.pichle sal bhi yahi hua that aur use pehle bhi lekin kuch hua nahi.main point is this ki agar Diwali par cracker ban kiye toh new year par bhi aur ese karte karte har festival whether holi, Eid, cristmas har kuch ban karna padega.toh Mera mana hai ki pollution john industries, vehicles etc se hota us par kuch kiya jaye.they contribution majority to it

Aakash pointed out that a comprehensive year long policy is needed. If that ever happens, shayad ek din aisa aye jab crackers ban na karne padein. But like I said, I am an asthmatic, with horrible memories on seeing smoke fill up my room, even 25 years ago, and the next day seeing all the carnage ( cracker debris)on the roads, so I have personally never liked them.
Even I also know what happen when health lost it track . I also get problem related to stomach ( due to junk food) at that time going every where for medical seeing people with surgery,and all that stuff horrific images.but the point is pollution related to any kind .need long term planning .not like this ki diwali par crackers ban and this that those.but these bloody politicians don't see this as a problem with all high class facilities they have
