No one would ever imagine that these beautiful pendants/earrings are made with paper napkins Fi!! You are so inspirational and I love that you try different techniques to your work to get an altogether amazing result. Your imagination and creative genius sets the bar very high! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us ❤️🤗
Beautiful work, can I just give you a tip for removing all the backing from the napkin....if you use a small piece of sellotape and just gently stick it to the backing, it will take off the first layer and repeat for next layer, works every time. I saw someone else do this on TH-cam, so I'm not claiming it as my idea. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Fi ! beautiful technique and the result is beautiful 💕 I have wanted to try this and never got around to it. I love that I always learn something new. ❤️
Just lovely, Deb❤️ I have tried napkins on clay before but as a transfer. I lost so much of the napkin ink color that way so will try this….am thinking it will work well! Thank you so much for sharing!❤️
@@theclaysanctuary3464 - thank you for pointing that out to me! I want to call you by your name! Fi it is! God bless you! Is Fi a short version of a longer name? My name is Joan but I have always gone by Joannie💕
Absolutely beautiful. I had just copied some beautiful butterfly pics and was going to put them onto white Fimo but they are copied onto regular copy paper. Do you think that might work or is the paper a little too thick? I cannot believe that you had just done this, I had awakened early this morning with this in mind to make the Fimo look like porcelain. WOW! Girl are you psychic? Beautiful project.
🙂 I've tried it with ink jet paper, regular doesn't work to well apparently. Maybe try it and see how it works? I am going to try with ink jet at some point, when I can. Thanks Michael 🙂
I love this technique. I can never find cool napkins like this! It really looks like a watercolor. I’m wondering if you could hit the clay with the heat gun so the paper won’t wrinkle. Sort of flash cure the liquid clay.
Maybe? I hadn't thought of that. They all flattened out though so maybe the oven does that? Ebay does an amazing amount of eye-catching napkins, worth a look. Thanks Oonagh 🙂
The original painting the napkins are based off were a watercolour that's why.. you could probably do this with your own artwork printed on normal paper if you had a decent printer
The idea of the empty nail polish bottle for the liquid clay or the UV resine is so smart!
And a lovely project as well.
Thanks, I can't take credit for that though as saw tip on Facebook. Just spreading the word 😉 I use one for liquid clay too, and Kato liquid clay.
These came out so beautifully!!!!!

Hermosisimos proyectos no me canso de mirarlos una y otra vez. Gracias por compartir y ayudar.
gracias por sus amables palabras 🙂
👍🏻👍🏻
This how I do napkin "transfer". It really is so much more practical. Never thought of the crackle though. Very cool!
Thanks, yes I'm gonna experiment a bit more lol
@@theclaysanctuary3464 I've done a bunch if you ever want to chat about it.
It is if the color also stay more vivid? Not bleach out
@@AIRview2 I think the color stays more true because you are really just covering the napkin instead of transferring the ink.
Will mog pop work as you glue for this project.
Awesome technique and they are so detailed.
Thanks, Welcome home !
@@theclaysanctuary3464 Iam still on ship🛳 Will be home tomorrow😄

Did you use an alcohol wipe to clean off your clay? Or was that just a kleenex? Thanks!

I did, on the silver dome as shown in video
Clay, playdough transfer from coloring books. Place playdough on newspaper or coloring book pages, press and the ink will lift. Lyft
