After just beating the game in 16 hrs from ps+ it was fun and short. Took me a week and a half. I just didn’t feel like doing the secret ending and wanted a break from gaming. This game was on my Switch list so happy to beat it and experience the game
Not just to comment but to be honest this was probably my favorite game, the story plot and bosses, mini bosses, enemies, weapons small puzzles and so on. I guess it’s true when they say all good things come to an end😢😢 ( great video too)🎉🎉🎉
Truly wonderful lore to be left to the fringes of exposition, hidden behind 10 hours of “find 5 keys then light 4 flames then complete three combat challenges to open a room where you must click 6 switches to defeat the first of three arbitrary bosses to open the door to the endgame” Thanks for sharing this video so I didn’t have to grind the postgame!!
Thanks even tho the skips made it harder than it had to be, but i kept reading this is the hardest boss in the game, and it's the only boss I beat first try. I did every single thing on the list but i dont got the other red one on the right side
@@astralfire6784 parry, defensive options, more moves to use for different situations. It’s fine now, but I think deeper combat would really make the game great.
@@enternamehere142Imo the way it is rn is fine, it does have an emphasis on combat but not to an extreme extent that you need to practice a mechanic over and over, which lets more players enjoy the game more

When i realized i have to fight gravedigger I got so heartbroken that i failed 3 times because i don’t want him to die.. and unlike other bosses, he’s bleeding when you hit him which means he’s not fully transformed yet 😢😢

This was a “you have to look it up” to find it which personally is never fun for me bc I try to figure it all out so I waste hours and hours looking for something that’s so obtuse you’d have to look it up
This game did a lot right but it did a lot wrong. Map would have been amazing. Take away the stupid horde mode or whatever with those pink gates all the time that was the stupidest stuff. But overall I really enjoyed it
I would agree on the map thing but the hordes were great. I used them to get a ton of soul energy to upgrade, since I died a lot and had to repeat sections.

The difference between that and this is that deaths door is more akin to old zelda. And getting lost is just not fun. Another thing dark souls has iver this in terms of traversal is its landmarks. Deaths door is lacking in any sort of "ok im here, if I go here it will take me here" of which souls has but this game lacks. This game needed a map

this game us such a tedious walking sim. Dont buy it. The are very few boss fights and they take forever to even get to them. Even after that, 90% of them you beat within 15 minutes. Add on top of that the other 10 minutes spent is walking back each time you die because this game loves adding artificial ways to make you spend more time. The story is also lack luster, its like a 12 year old trying to be deep. It feels like it was written for little kids and the writing as well as the gameplay clearly shows that. They should have put more effort into the story as well as given better modes of transportation other than rolling all across the map. The lack of a map is also one of the most annoying things. 90% of the game is you just wandering around aimlessly trying to find that button you missed half an hour ago, the other 10% is solving puzzles and actually getting to fight some bosses. Its a bad game. The only thing I can commend about it is the visuals. If you want to buy this game for the sole purpose that you get to play as a bird, I would reccomend you buy A Short Hike. The visuals are great, performance is amazing, story is great, mechanics are phenominal, soundtrack and sound effects are simply out of this world, diologue is unimshinsblr, it cost 5$, and to my utter surprise it was made in less than a month for a game jam. I have the switch version and I feel like it was just made for that console. Anyways thats all
i'm Sorry but everything you said Is Just wrong and it's kinda proven objectively, the bosses are great and are so fucking many in the whole map, the bosses are not only the main ones that are also many, you Simply didn't like It. be mature enough to understand the fact that it's anyways a good game.
There are doors that allow you to respawn right next to every boss. Literally takes you 5 seconds to get back to the battle of you die. It's a rogue lite metroidvania style game and a very good one for a small indy dev team. You simply don't like this style of game. For those who do, it's excellent and they should play it.

I did do most like collect every seed and pot and shiny item and max most upgrades etc this is a solid 7/10 game very fun and simple

This game is a masterpiece IMO. Only 2 games have I ever platinumed, Days Gone and Death's Door

The secret is kind of random without the context, it's supposed to be connected to the story of another game of the same developers called Titan souls

No map encourages you to think and memorize. Dark Souls 1 had no map and it's by design. Much better this way imo
