Hello! First of all I wanted to tell you I love your art, I've recently found you but you have the type of style I'm aiming for and it keeps me inspired to keep on pursuing it! I recently started doing daily studies too because of your video, and it has been going really good; but I'm starting to have trouble with consistency because of the time it takes me to make those paintings. So I wanted to ask you advice on what do you recommend me to do, if it's not any problem of course! But should I perhaps start using a timer? Do more simplified pictures? Anyways, thank you very much for reading and keep up the beautiful art!
Hey man thanks a lot! I really appreciate that :) I'd say 1st of all just let you 1h max/studies, if it's less it's good, also don't do it during the week ends as I said, and maybe don't take a complicate subject. A whole scene with a battle and a castle in the bg, impossible to do that in 1h, or you can try to study the same pic for all the week if you want. 1h studying the castle, 1h the fighters on the foreground I don't know... But don't spend to much time on it, and try to identify why do you do daily studies and what's the objectives with that
@@dailystudies1 thank u so much for answering !!! yeah, you're right. I'll start spending less time on them! and as the why on it, well part of the main reason is to get some kind of discipline, but I do it also to post stuff even if I don't like the outcome, and doing that I feel I reduce the perfectionism I try to achieve when doing a painting :)
Wow you weren't kidding. You really did have fun with this one ✨ (bonus points for the Whiplash soundtrack)
ehe yes of course ;)
Perfection!
thanks ;)
