Hi I'm new to magic and my first deck i got was the Phyrexian All Will Be One Commander deck with Ixchel. Due to that i was focused on creating a Poison deck for my first time and I love this video. Though I will take an alternative approach i was wondering. For your strategy wouldn't be it also a good idea to put Eldritch Evolution in the deck which would be a nice extra to get Venerated Rotpriest out?

Looking at making my atraxa grand unifier deck into a toxic infinte combo with ghostly flicker, naru meha, and venerated rotpriest. Unless a counter is played everyone gets poisoned. Using tutors and atraxa to get the board state. It wont be any turn 1-3 wins though lol
Correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you also get an infinite combo with rotpriest, one other creature add lightning Greaves by just moving the lightning Graves back and forth?
What do you think of using Kaho commander to find Prologue to Phyresis and whatever else, you should get like almost guaranteed turn 4-ish poison on everyone and then just needs 9 proliferations
@CommanderMechanic mmm, good point, thank you. I couldn't find any other instant/sorcery tutoring commander. And it might not be a very fun to play deck so just for competing I guess, will probably keep it in concepts folder
what happens if when pulling this combo, targeting all my creature tokens to remove a player from the game, someone decides to "in response" destroy the rotpriest, would that still trigger the rotpriest ability with the spell targeting all my creature tokens? cause basically rotpriests ability sounds almost as a split second ability
as long as you have targeted the creatures rotpriest triggers go on the stack. Someone needs to remove the rotpriest before you cast a multi-target spell
A better version of this is ivy gleeful spell thief as your commander. Run worldly tutor and chords of calling. Vesuvan duplimancy, season of growth, and a bunch of cantrips that give hexproof and/or indestructible.
LOL. The video is misleading. This combo is not possible on turn one. With that being said, anything is possible in one turn in magic. This is more of a hidden decktech commander video.

Yes if you don’t have a tutor for rotpriest in the command zone like Rocco then including as many as possible in the 99 is ideal

love the concept but if Kaho gets removed before you get an activation Prologue is gone forever!

How about Zida, hedron grinder and Radiant performer who convert all mono-target spells into "overloaded" like spells ?

Zada, Hedron Grinder and a few simple pump spells would add some redundancy.
Did you actually think about Zada? Could give you an additional way to power up a token and generate Poison counter.
Yeah I thought about it too, but Zada requires spells that targets only him, so at the best of its possibilities you add only one poison to the count
If rotpriest gets killed/exiled is there another wincon that's not combat related? :(

Even though it costs a lot of mana, Storm Herd would be a pretty easy way to just get 30 tokens.
Great idea. Love it. Seems quite a good deck for competitive play or even CEDH... but definitely NOT for casual ^^

Needs Hour of Reckoning instead of Vanquish the Horde. Board wipes are much better when they're 1 sided. Also, Heroic Intervention.
Toxic is more of an adjustment to Poisonous.
