The reason I was mostly miserable for my prom is because "That time of the month" started on the day of the prom, and all I could think of that morning was 'well this is just bloody typical innit'. The thing that made me most miserable that day was the makeup I had put on my face by my cousin, as the foundation that she had put on was too dark and made my face look orange and made me an emotional wreck until I got to the party, loosened up a bit and after about 45 minutes maybe a little over an hour scrubbed my face clean in the bathrooms undoing what had been done. Also I wasn't happy about wearing uncomfortable heels, so after about half an hour they came off too and I walked around in bare feet for the rest of the night until I got picked up.
