I have flown Saudia since 1981, beginning at the old airport in the now center of the city, on 747SP aircraft from Jeddah to JFK and L1011 Tristars to LHR. I have always found Saudia to be a solid airline with new aircraft and a generally very good food service (not being a drinker, I don’t really care whether or not they serve alcohol). I recently flew the 787-10 from Jeddah to Amsterdam (and Paris to Jeddah) and found the cabin and service to be superb. I was in seat 1A both directions - it’s a great seat as there’s more legroom in the footwell. The toilet on the left side at the end of the business class cabin is very large - much larger than the typical aircraft lavatory. Jeddah is a now great city for tourists, by the way. I’d definitely recommend the old city (Al-Balad), which had had a massive restoration of historical sites in the last few years. It’s much more authentic than what you’ll find in other Gulf cities, because it is, in fact, authentic, rather than a replica.
Thanks for sharing. We also had exellent experiences with Saudia. And thanks to no alcohol policy you are fresh at destination :) We visited Jeddah during a stopover in ‘23. Great city indeed!
the worst airline they downgraded my business class to economy class and want to give me the credit just only 474$What is a shit airline!.We paid for 3199$

Sorry to hear that. Agree, I would never fly an airline again if that happens to me.
