Hi Greg, I don't ride that kind of bike, but I found you after you commented on Graham's video just now ..... I was just checking out the commenters' businesses/TH-cam channels ... I want to compliment you on your awesome audio in this video. If I were in this sport, you'd be one I'd watch.
Hello Coach Greg - You have always had explosive hole shot first straights through the years I have seen you race. I notice that you have a 43 tooth gear on your bike in this video - Have you always used a 43/16 ratio? Thanks!
Hi Shane, you know, I put the 43 on just for some easy gear training sprints to promote more explosion (speed of discharge-not necessarily strength). The very last race I did I was really enjoying a set up with decimal gearing 44.1 x 16 with 177mm cranks.
@@BMXTraining - Thanks Greg - I have ran a 43/16 on 175 mm in the past have have done well, it does though require a tremendous amount of spin to maintain good track speed / it was a philosophy I learned from Burlin Harris from years 2000 to 2015. I currently am on the 44/16 with 180 mm standard. I suppose it feels good but not as much spin per say. Maybe because I am older now.... Maybe a shorter crank arm could help to spin more (177 mm?), but it could take away from leverage out of the gate...? As always, thank you for your insight and knowlege..
@@shanefox7955 it’s definitely a challenge to find what works for each one. I’d say, if you can, keep sprinting, and weight lift if you’re up for it, it takes a lot of the guess work out if we’re all stronger and powerful ❤️
Hey coach Greg!, I seem to remember seeing a video of you sprinting a car park that had about a 3 foot rise every 30 feet or so? You were power wheelying each rise... looked brutal. Still a good training choice?
any suggestions on how to eliminate rocking side to side when exiting a turn? 10 year old rocks handle bars side to side coming out of turns and depending on how far away the next obstacle is he ends up going over the next obstacle crooked and it makes it almost impossible to manual that next spot?
@@keithmoritz6366 Either his hands aren't strong enough at keeping the bike steady or he might need to pump up the tires up a bit. I have mine at 7.5 bar and it's like riding with the rim on the ground its so smooth and you have much better control of the bike. Be aware if it's wet he could fall
BMX&gaming your sentence is missing structure. More context please. Your cause and effects are lacking any stunningly impressive reasons for one to be sold.
Thank you guys for all your support and if you guys have any questions please fire them off! With Gratitude and respect, Greg Romero!

Thank you Zaan! I appreciate your support!
In the gate do you look at the lights or listen?
I think you will be more consistent with watching the lights.
To be honest it’s preference I know some people who are better with the light and some are better with sound but most are better with lights

I also believe he is shedding speed with the front wheel going side to side.

It's not about having a parking garage to do sprints, isn't it.
