I had been drinking and as Arnez left the stage and exit through the crowd I wanted to tell him how much I enjoyed his performance, and I kind of startled him, (thinking security was coming), but this cool brother just said, "Thank you, brother.", smiled and kept it moving. Then it's a handful of very big acts so it's a battle with the peers you're around to get to that level. The constant road grind seeing the same faces and whose headlining and years of that can make some people bitter or jealous. And I could be totally wrong but the only comic from his era that I can think of with that type of energy (fast comedy, funny walking, falling down) is Steve Brown.
