2024 BREAM Gippsland | Day 1 Highlights

Plenty of bream on the first day of the Daiwa round of the Daiwa BREAM Series, but only a few were real quality. Still - ended up with a tad over 5kg and started Day 2 in 8th place.
All fish on Cranka Crabs and the Outback Breamer Baits mussel.

Do you go tight drag when fishing straight through fluorocarbon? I've been fishing 3lb straight through and I'm unsure how much pressure I can actually put on the fish

Nah loose mate, don’t wanna pull hooks ore break off.

The tighter the line when you fight the fish the easier it breaks when it hits something.
