Dear sir, From Last 6 months, All the educational Institutions in our country are continuously shut down due to COVID 19 pandemic. As we know, Higher and Technical Education courses are mostly Practical based and require peer learning. With online mode of Education we are facing difficulties in completing our studies. Most of the students are using smart phones for attending their online classes which results in mental stress and eye stain. Moreover, some of the students of our University are from not so affluent financial background. So, they can't afford a good Wifi service provider for high bandwidht. They even face issues while attending online classes. As students of one of the most prominent university of the country, we are mature enough to abide by the rules and SOP regulations laid down by administration for offline classes. We do know there is a risk in opening up university but a possible solution can be to allow hostel to reopen for students to stay in and attend online classes from their hostel itself(Many of IITs, IIMs are doing this). CAT, NET, CA, CS, etc., exams are on their way. Students who used to reside in hostels had filled their preference of exam centre nearby their hostel. They will be facing problems in giving their exams. New semester is completely unknown to everyone and students are not able to learn it totally online. All the other institutions(apart from Educational Institutions) are open now but the most important institution for any nation is completely under lockdown from past 6-7 months. So, we request all the respective authorities to take decision regarding reopening of college for U.G (under graduate)+ P.G.(post graduate) courses and their hostels. Even if the administration is not ready to open the college for offline classes, the university should open their hostel facilities for staying of students. Thankyou. P.G.+ U.G.
