Not really my normal type of video but I really enjoy Harry Potter and have been really wanting to do something like this for a long time. I hope you all enjoy! #Severus #Snape #HarryPotter
Something I always noticed and really stuck with me is when Dumbledore says "Please" to Snape in the tower... The way he says it and looks at Snape, even during my first watching, it didn't look like a plea for his life, it looks a lot more like a plea for Snape to do it... It struck me as weird at the time of course and I figured "I guess I'm just seeing it in the wrong way" but as the story then progresses and I saw the Snape memories part where Dumbledore says "You must be the one to kill me", that just sealed the deal for me, I'm certain that dumbledore *did* plead for Snape to kill him, rather than *not* to kill him, and it just made me appreciate *both* scenes a lot more... I know this is a tribute to Snape/Rickman, but I just can't help to notice this every single time I see the tower scene nowadays...
I saw it the same way in my first viewing. I knew there was more to Severus Snape than met most people's eyes. I always thought he was a tragic figure who ended up a hero in the end by sacrificing himself. Dumbledore did plea for him to kill him. He did not want Malfoy to destroy his soul by doing it.
Snape is an positive character. Yes,maybe he hates Harrys dad. But he loves Harry. No one understands him. Like Draco. Harry sees that Snape is good on last day of Snapes life. THANK YOU ALAN RICKMAN.
WTF HE DID ONE
did not see that coming
Alan was such an amazing actor, the way his voice cracks when he conjured "Avada Kedavra" to kill Dumbledore amazes me

Along with Harry we realize too late that Snape is the story's tragic hero. RIP, Professor. RIP, dear Alan Rickman.
