The Cuckoo - Clawhammer Banjo

I love this song! I like to play a few different variations and I've been experimenting on which ones I like the best. Notably, this variation doesn't have as much of a pronounced brushed stroke as this song often uses during the instrumental breaks. In the future, I think I'll go back to adding a more defined brush, as I feel like that's a pretty consistent staple of this song.
Oh the cuckoo, she's a pretty bird, and she sings when she flies
She always leaves a comment, and even subscribes!

Hello! This is the Gold Tone AC-12a (A-scale model). It is a relatively newly released banjo that I purchased new for $300 USD. Gold Tone's AC-12 series banjos feature a 12" renaissance head, composite pot, and comes in a variety of configurations like standard, A-scale, fretless, long neck, and 5+1. I really enjoy mine, especially for warmer/melodic songs. :)
