- War Robots Gameplay: Ao Qin Mk3 - completely unplayable WR
I realize that the Ao Qin was never meant to be a meta robot or intended to be used against those. But this thing plays worse than some of the starter robots and it was released many years later. Ares, Hades, Nemesis... They can all be played well. The Ao Qin literally dies as soon as you touch the ability button. The laser damage is barely even noticable and everyone targets you once you lift off. To make things short: This was one of the worst recording sessions for me in a while :-)
But from day 1 I remember saying: Give this thing something while flying... At least a Quantum Radar or so.

Just a tip Manni: I find Shai and Magnetars the best weapon/drone you could run on the Ao Qin. Kestrel is not worth it for this robot, but Shai on the other hand... That drone is gonna carry this robot so hard!
Edit: I saw a picture where you had Shai equipped, what went wrong 😅?

One of the few robots that actually needs an "ultimate" version... resistance on the ground and a more powerful laser - maybe have a legendary pilot that helps you fly a bit faster too.
Also a stealth would be great

Would argue that ao guang is the forgotten of the dragon pack, Ao quin is used on low leagues, Ao jun had it's unforgettable meta, au guang on the other hand stayed underdog especially in this meta where defense points are not a core mechanic
@@yuridc1780 No I wouldn't argue with that but y don't WR buff this bot through out it's years of being in the game they never touched this robot they should at least make this bot a ultimate edition and have players trade in their MK3 Ao Qin for that version it would be amazing l.

When the flying dragons was released they were my favorite bots based on my play style. But obviously as the game progressed they were forgotten unfortunately😅
Even then I remember that the AO Qin was forgotten and not provided with a useful ability. Then however you wouldn't get killed in 0.5sec from every 2nd players on the map, so it was a bit more doable.
out of all the dragon flying robots this is probably my fav because, i like the 4 light weapons slot and the built in laser, it also brings back nostalgic vibes because i used to run the Ao Qin A LOT

Back in the days when this dragon came to the it was mainly used with X4 Aphids or magnums but it was really weird seeing one

Exactly, my Mk2 level 2 robots don't mean anything. And I don't have powercells left. Balanced game for us F2p people.
This was my first semi flying robot so I loved it ,however very fragile 😢😂😂😅
Why do you call it semi flying? It can fly normally. Hover for example is semi flying.

Really funny seeing all the Ophions charge at you with no plan because they just assume their p2w bot will give them the automatic win. They were not expecting to get outplayed by an Ao Qin.

Never was a very good bot Manni, it was taken out very easily back then when the 3 of them came out. The magic number for that bot (I found) was 600+ Meters (no closer) just to survive for a couple of minutes before something jumped your bones. Good Luck :)

When somebody looks at you, YOU DEAD... LOL that sounds about right. I haven't used my baby dragon since gold league, it has no defense in the air. Stands a slim chance against the new meta bot's n weapon's. It was nice seeing the Qin getting some kills
Gotta make sure to run Defense Expert skill that gives the Ao Qin increased defense points (15) while ability is active. Since there's only one passive module, I use the balanced unit for both extra durability and additional damage. And I use the unstable conduit for the same reason 😁 it actually does well with kramolas

Me and my brother used these around 3 years ago with gekko, paralysis drone and shield breaker. Back then one full salvo would load up the mothership and we’d launch like 30+ orbital strikes😂 good times.
Ao qin needs 3x module slots, stealth in flight and sheild on landing. HP of 280,000 and resistance / execute ability like lynx. Then you would see that red Ferrari in the meta.

Everything that flyes in war robots takes instant damage
Should have chosen Adrian Pilot or Otto. You've could have gotten higher values for your pilot skills.
At 3:20 you got blinded by the drone (not OP couter suppression counter blind etc)
Way more entertaining than watching Ouchos or Oofians steamroll other players.
The au qin should be the ULTIMATE glass canon, the laser applies up to 10 death marks to an enemy
Hey manni I would love to see a update spec ops falcon and also a build I’m running that I like to call the shredder blitz v2, two tamer and two trickster as well as a paralysis drone. I want to see what an up to date spec ops would look like but maybe it would preform better with a beak drone. Hopefully you takes this into consideration and as always keep up the good work with quality good mood gaming 🗣️🔥🔥🔥

I left the game 3 years ago simply because it was getting too p2w and all my robots were getting destroyed by everything, and the same goes for my Ao Ming titan.... i still regret grinding 700 platinum then upgrading the Ming, just to get wiped out within seconds of spawning sometimes

Manni I say you try this again but I have a built that will really help. I get the idea of this mainly from aygir but I say you have these 3 things. 4x Tamer,hiruko drone, Trixie hope and if you get find a skill that removes the ability for damage durability or speed and finally a advanced repair amp. You can keep the nuke amp for fire power but with all of these you should be able to bring this robot back to life! Hope it helped :D
Yeah, I knew that Tamer would work better. BUt I didn't want to use those new OP weapons. I specifically wante to run something more balanced
@@ManniGamingwow I really respect that lol well the reason why I picked those weapons is because they are able to recharge battleships easily but maybe you can use ultimate halo or something else that can charge the battleship. With the hiruko drone you can easily get up to 1m hp

This bot, if played well, can STILL be a major PITA. It's ability weapon has some bite last I checked.

Another great video. That bot looks like it needs the dev’s to give it some love and make it so it can be played. So sad how they just make new robots without adjusting some of their past creations so that anyone that bought and invested any time energy and money in it can still use it through the duration of WR evolution. I had back in the day a vortex specte but deleted all of them weapons and robots but decided to build them all in workshop and the typhoon it will probably die fast but I want to try and get some fun back into the game for me I took up that setup because of you manni and I was really good at the game play single shots always worked lol

Leo can be good even in Champion League, I've encountered a few, and they were surpisingly tanky. It's basically an Angler with no ability.
When the dragons came out this robot was able to be purchased immediately for 1000 gold wich was awesome at the time because everything else was in black market only

Was a fun bot a few years ago. They should really give it a buff like more damage for its laser and some defence while in the air. Sadly only reason pixonic would buff it is by giving it an ultimate version since otherwise they wont earn any money on it....
Ao Qin feels like what you would get if you told someone to try and make Fafnir only from memory after they have not seen anything related to the Fafnir for like a year.
Ao Qin only worked for me with four Mark III Noricums and the Basil pilot. The Dagon made the Noricum Ao Qin obsolete. Six Noricums make for *_tons_* of trolling fun.
The Zenit and the Noricum are the *ONLY* skill-based weapons in the entire game. Don't let anyone tell you different.
Maybe a +%5 skin would help the Ao Qin? :)
It's not just the Ao Qin, a lot of weapons are now just obsolete, in my opinion the scourge weapon is completely useless because of its lock on time, with the current meta able to keep phase shifting in and out the scourge weapon can't lock on in time before another phase shift is activated or another ability is used.
Its axtually kinda good if played well, but yes the lock on is so ass
HEAR ME OUT ok so ao guang had resistance and ao jun has stealth. Ao quin should get a pilot that gives it fortifier while flying. It’s got good firepower issue is it’s a one shot

I wish I could 😢 react to this video. I really love Ao Qin concept and design and it took me through the leagues until I reached Champion where I had to ditch it. If WR used a point-based hangar system I could still use it for fun but it became unplayable many updates ago. A pity.

Everything that can fly in the current meta has 1 of 3 things. Intense firepower, some sort of shield, or stealth. AO Qin doesn’t have the fire power to risk 0 defense in air
I would love to see which old bots are decent enough to handle the meta. And some difference between the game plays since we got campers who go no clue which to play in during game play

This is a beginner flying robot but it looked like really badass. Unfortunately, he still for beginner games only.

hey manni what happened to the paramotor manni channel? I didn't even know that existed until now. Because it is very interesting to me about your personal life besides war robots.
I started a new account recently and OMG is the ratings system messed up at lower leagues. Some truly pathetic people in bronze league-gold with maxed out hangers, another thing that is insanely frustrating are the tanker bots and the people with sub-par IQs running past open beacons gets me every time. You know who you are, or maybe not because you're oblivious...
Have so many robots I can’t use anymore. Been playing since Leo was meta like impossible to use any of it beyond that. They need tier robot battles like a battle for every status of robot and weapons and only those are available for that game mode.

As a flying dragons enjoyer, my best bet to play with Ao Quin is to use Tricksters and Tamers
For module i use reactor amplifier and phaseshift thing
And for drones i always use hiruko for the extra DOT dmg

Midea pilot for both; aka discount Poison Ivy. Ao Qin w/ 4x Sting + nuclear amp & beak/seeker drone.
Wat I want to do is replace this build for 2x Tamer/2x Trickster. Same modules & drone. The weapons should rack up nuke amp way faster too. And they should benefit the DoT pilot.
The Sting reminds me of the Needler from Halo if you ever played that series btw. And I'll say this much, the raw dmg those do are pretty darn decent since ur literally just shooting poisonous needles lol.

When the 3 flying bots entered the game, this one was the worst.
Rip the entire Ao lineup to be honest, the most playable one is the Guang, simply because of the resistance and firepower with new weapons. Even then it's mostly useless. And don't even get me started on the Jun
I think they should buff the old t1 and t2 robots with 1 active module and 3 passive modules for every robot

I have said this before snd I will day it again, Thr ao qin should get some kond of protection in the air, thr Ao gang had slot of resistance and the Ao jun gets stealth. So the Ao Qin should at least get some kind of matbe a physical shield or energy shield, LITERALLY ANYTHING

Why do quicksand Ophions get shield while landing and the normal 1? Not i think both should have shield while landing bc the ophion got nerfed hard
i somehow found a bug which made my Curie take no damage lol, and if u leave the the Curie for another Robot it will be glitched too.
Instead of making robots that are already doing well ultimate, this one is a wonderful choice for the next. ultimate robot.

For some reason you only restored the grey bar after killing the scorpion, but no actual hp whatsoever. Yet pixonic has nerfed kestrel on the latest test server again, making it heal even less hp with twice as long cool-down on top (not to mention speed boost abolition). It’s going to be so useless once the new update is out.
Of course they do that. This „older“ drone was still the best and most popular. That can’t be in war robots where you’re supposed to replace your stuff constantly with the new. Makes me sick!
Oh wait really it got nerfed again? Damm as a f2p this was my highest lvl drone which I focused on for a while now. So close to lvl12 too rip
