We didn't need our passports but that's cos it was done thorough TUI, it was a tad rough going over that morning to lanzorote but quite smooth going back to fuerteventura.x
We took this ferry back in September to Corralejo,and it was fine,but the return crossing wasnt so good.The wind was very strong and the ferry was getting tossed all over the place,Ive been on larger ferrry crossing over the North Sea and English Channel in gale forces,but this small ferry was been thrown about something awful!..I'll admit I was concerned, about our crossing as the boat was small,and the crossing took twice as long as the boat had to sail slower..
No passport check when I went in Sept, either on boarding or ticket pick-up. You can see flying fish during the crossing. Big Atlantic swell on my return back to Playa Blanca, not to everyone's taste!
Did this ferry trip in rough weather. Waves coming up to top deck but great fun . Don't remember being asked for passports.
Need passport at ticket office but maybe not through agencies.

We went to go in February. Taxi from playa del carmen to Porto Blanca. Didn't take passports so wasted trip.
How much was the taxi? If i can ask
