If you pay attention the lyrics in the song really do match what’s happening in the trailer. So in a way, the song is used both figuratively and literally. Zack is a genius man. I can’t say how many times I’ve watched this trailer. I’m so ready.

Lyrics were so accurately synced with the trailer is insane.

He had to step away because of what happened to his daughter. So the lyrics to the song are doubled in meaning: both in how Warner Bros treated him and his movie by cutting over 3.5hrs of footage, bringing in a director that had no clue how to handle anything pertinent to the movie, and forcing it's release. It wasn't until Jason Momoa started speaking out saying that Snyder's cut of the movie was completely different that fans began demanding that version be released. So Hallelujah is for the loss and pain of his daughter's suicide, how WB treated him during that time, how his masterpiece was nearly destroyed, but how we fans not only helped to save him, but his artwork and made the studio execs see that what they did to him and us was in no way justified. The song talks about having your power stripped away, of love that's been lost and never understood/realised, and then coming to release relief and victory in the end. This entire trailer makes me cry every time I see it because a) it's just so fuckin beautiful, and b) we, Zack included, were robbed.

@@chand911 I do. Because it literally comes down to not getting what we were promised and paid for.
I was told good info about the way Darkseid looked in that clip. Initially it was a very young Darkseid who fought against the rest of the Earth at the dawn of mankind. It was not supposed to be Stephan Wolf, Josh changed it. If that is the case than Darkseid was still young for his kind and still went by the name of Uxas. It is only when he got older and learned a portion of the anti life equation when his name changed to Darkseid{High Father} his look would also change from the omega power in his body for milenia. For that reason I believe there are other scenes where Darkseid will look different when and if they show him in the present timeline. I hope people found this interesting!

The Steppenwolf that the Justice League defeats, it is simply an Avatar of Steppenwolf. The young Darkseid we see in the start of the trailer is only an Avatar. Hell, Darkseid's true form has antrue form, thr Darkseid in the cartoons and comics and films are the same person

If the leaks are true then Darkseid alongside with Deesad and Kalibak will appear at the end of the movie in a boom tube after steppenwolf's death, I think this will pretty much happen because this movie suppose to build up another JL movie where Darkseid would be the main villain, at least that was the plan in 2016 but this version is the original one so Darkseid has to be in the movie in his normal form and not just hig younger self

The trailer is masterful, basically showing us all one by one “here’s something you didn’t see” and “here’s another one”. Zack is about to bring DC to the top because this is gonna be a massive hit and hopefully he’ll be able to continue this story how he wants further.
Top of what? How can 1 movie bring them to the top? And that's if it's good. BvS wasn't good. Snyder made that movie if I'm not mistaken.
I hope it is good, but all the gas is definitely funny to me.
@@krilizek BvS was an excellent movie. The plan was always to tear these superheros down and bring them back up through Snyder's 5 movie story arc (MoS, BvS, JL Part I, II and III) but we'll never get to see it fully realised because people can't handle having their heroes deconstructed like they were in BvS and are too impatient to wait for a pay off that would have came by the end of JL Part III.
We're lucky to at least get a Justice League movie in line with Snyder's vision for these mythic characters, but it still won't make up for what could have been if he had been able to complete his full Justice League arc.
@@jdp117 you might be right, but I can only go with what I saw on screen. I didn't think it was a good movie, but we are all welcome to our own opinions. And to say ppl couldn't handle their heroes being torn down is false in my opinion. Ppl don't like the core character of their heroes being messed with. Batman hates guns, so he would NEVER use 1. He also doesn't kill, it's core to who he is. But again, I hope this 4 hr movie is good, but it's 4 years to late to really make a difference in the dceu. But I am interested in what could have been.
@@krilizek I actually think if Snyder's JL is really well received it'll change the DCEU. It's clear after the Black Adam panel at Fandome that DC Films are taking a different direction and my theory is that the Justice Society with Black Adam, Atom Smasher, Hawkman, Cyclone and Dr Fate will usher in new cinematic team up movies for DC in theatres, and if Justice League is well received on HBO Max, Snyder may get to continue with those characters exclusively on that streaming platform which would be HBO Max's unique feature. We may get a Batfleck mini series, Green Lantern series, etc. Then have major solo movie releases in cinema such as The Flash, Black Adam, Shazam, Wonder Woman etc.
As for your comments on Batman... Well you just proved my point. I know Batman doesn't kill or use guns, but I've seen that Batman a gazillion times in TV, animation and film. I love Snyder and Affleck's Batman because it's different. Just like Matt Reeves and Pattinson's Batman looks to be different. You don't need to invalidate one just because it doesn't stick to your ideals of the character. When Frank Miller's Batman came along in the 80s, it didn't invalidate what came before it. It was drastically different, and enriched the mythology of Batman. You can have a favourite. But your vision of Batman is no more valid, relevant, or true than my vision of Batman. These characters have been worked and reworked for 80 years and the re imagining of these characters won't stop anytime soon.

I don't care about different takes. I don't think the movie was good. I think the story was terrible. You're making it seem as if Snyder's vision was great. I don't know if it was great, i didn't get to see it. But I saw BvS and justice league. They were terrible to me. I love MoS. I don't want him to fail, I'm just not running around saying he's great based on a 2 minute trailer. I liked the trailers for BvS, JL and Suicide squad...but i hated those movies. I'm holding judgment until I see it.

Before the trailer, Zack announced that this will be a 4-hour mini series (1 hour each). Which would probably be easier than just putting out a full 4 hour movie that some people won't even make it past the first hour for, but he said you can watch them all at once so that should be dope.

Well technically they cut about 3 hours and 40 minutes of it since Fabian Wagner the cinematographer stated they only used 10% of what they actually shot.
I thought it was originally gonna be 6 hours since it was supposed to be two movies, but they compromised to air 4 hours on hbo
Accelerator Esper Zack had said his Assembly Cut was nearly 5+ hours but I believe Zack’s ORIGINAL plan consisted of 3 JL’s to end his 5 Story Arc (MOS, BVS, then JL 1 2 3)

Yeah it's not really a christian song per say, but theres like hundreds of interpretations to each section of this song. I think its genius that it was put in (a song with tons of meanings and symbolism) into a trailer with a ton of different meanings.

The song choice is done for us the fans whom fought for the movie, you know when someone finally gets something in life and everyone whatever that something is says hallelujah, well that's the point. everybody already knows it's Justice League so no epic song is needed, what was needed is this song as Zack Snyder knows as we watch his vision trailer for the first time since 2017 fight began in our tears, hearts, passion, desires, we gonna echo hallelujah. And that's why the song.
And my favorite part it's Barry in the Flashpoint CHILLS man just CHILLS seeing him in the Snyder cosmos Barry looking around in amazement omgoodness the Speed Force looks so chilling epicawecity. It's chilling. Imagine changing everything and you're the only one who knows, you're friends are gone even the new versions aren't really them, my Lord I would cry and feel so lonely if I was in the Speed Force knowing everyone and everything I knew was gone. But yeah the Speed Force is my fave part to look at here. Zack Snyder man

I will never destroy theatrical version. At the time of release I made the best of a bad and complicated situation so I still and forever will have love for that film. It still marked the first time I saw them on screen together. During the premiere that Flash being seen by Superman was one of the best moments for me in cinematic history and it was fun tryna figure out what was Zack's work and what was originally intended as well as where does the "DCEU" go from there and how would the events be referenced. Its a unique hybrid of many moving forces and tones and feels like a fast paced animated film brought to life. Not to mention the format looks incredible 75" 4k on Bluray. I don't think it should be forgotten its existence is what led us here. They basically made 2 versions of one movie, hell with the mini series format we could say they made 3 versions of one movie. If Snyder Cut released in 2017 it would have been quickly dismissed by casuals once Infinity War and Endgame released. Now because of everything that has happened, including millions finally giving BvS and MoS the credit it deserves, the film will be bigger than it ever could have dreamed of being in 2017! Hallelujah my friends!

Plus the movie you got wasn't his movie , he was there to do what WB wanted nothing more nothing less . They promised him a Batgirl film in exchange but ended up screwing him over which is great in my opinion cause he'll go back to marvel to make more great films while Mr Snyder will keep dreaming of making a Billion Dollar film .

I feel like I'm going to react to @TheSnyderCut like I reacted to BvS Ultimate Edition. Watching BvS in theaters was like watching a 2 1/2 hour movie trailer. The ultimate edition was so much better. This is going to be a totally different movie. People need to stop second guessing Zack Snyder and let him release his vision in the first place. Watchmen, BvS, Justice League....The original vision is always his best!

I'm glad you pointed out Thanos. People often forget that the first few cameos by Thanos, he looked horrible. It wasn't until Infinity War, where he was the primary focus, that they attempted to perfect his CGI.
