That was a travellers site guys, you had a close call I think, they were most likely in there looking for scrap metal. However, I don't think the chances of harm are high for you both because you all have seemed to have experienced enough to know how to handle yourselves in these unpredictable situations. Just keep your awareness on a high though! Another example as to why it's better to explore with another person, much better than being alone.

How spiteful of people chucking it all about, not satisfied with stealing stuff. (Ive still got the little box of wooden bricks in the same style box, mine is the 60s version label, and it was more fun fitting them all back in!). A great episode as usual, well done for hiding so smartly, could you have strolled out saying "hi lads dont mind us we are urban exploring" , not mentioning the mess and just kept going?, who knows, probably not. Too risky, that one guy at least was wearing gloves to not leave fingerprints, so more than likely would have kicked off.
So sad, and really annoying why anyone needs to go into someone's property and demolish it for no reason. You should always carry a little thing in case you ever go through that again. Glad you're both okay though ✌🏼
