I listened to this while working on a HUGE crazy whistleblower thing... really felt like I was in one of those movie scenes where they have to work quickly and quietly and make it just in time before the wrong people see them. Also, impressed that you kept up the steadiness of the music for a freaking hour and a half >_>
They probably looped the video and the reverb and delay masked the cuts

To hear and play this instrument is one of the most good things I do in my axious moments. Working, studying and the difficult of shaping my own future is, sometimes, something hard and scary to deal with. When I play the Handpan and Kalimba, or just hear to them, I feel freedom, happines, and all the problems simply turn into small things to handle in my daily life.
Am I the only one enjoying this at x1.5 playback speed?! 👌👍
I have one of these drums. Its a 10 inch. It doesn't sound like this. This is electronically modified, lots of reverb! These drums do sound very nice even without the electronic mods. I love playing mine.

@@Babybookieboo basically its the ehco effect you are hearing. And I agree most metal tounge- rav- or hang drums do have some reverb but this is extreme and probably electronically enhanced. Not that its a bad thing just dont buy a drum and expect it to sound like this.
Maybe they are playing in their bathroom... but yes, way more echo/reverb than normal. I can get over the delay between sound and video.

I also have a 10 inch steel tongue drum and agree with Paul... Tons of reverb on this recording making it sound extra ethereal and atmospheric... Guessing the microphone is inside the drum which is itself a resonator chamber... Doubt you'd hear those sharp stick contacts the way they come through with an external mic. Anyway, these are beautiful instruments and I greatly enjoy learning and playing mine... I play it on my porch often and passersby love the sound always compliment how beautiful it is.
I just discovered tongue drums, have one arriving on Friday, thanks for the inspiration as I begin exploring the wonderful relaxing sounds they create. 💜
I have been working on one for a few days now and I love it. It's a mass-produced cheapie and it still produces very nice tones.
I think if I was ever abducted by aliens… And I somehow broke out of my cell and I was walking around the ship… This is what it would sound like… And I’m not saying this in a bad way I’m just saying it’s very cool

This instrument produce special sounds with lots of reverb that activate ones parts of brain and create a balance...perfect for relax and meditation...a real healing music therapy experience that use the sound to create a balance inside of you and connect with your true nature and finally with that we are all in essence giving simply to remember that all is energy and by consequently all is vibrations...thanks for sharing this moment of pure silence inside of us and connect with the cosmos...!!! I'm just gonna break it to you nicely since i'm a tongue drum player as well: Most of the 'reverb' you hear in this one is post-prod. If the drum had this much reverb you'd get false notes every three notes :) Much like all the added ambient sound lol (still a good tune OP)
The sound goes through my bones, eerie but soothing. This is my the first time thought to see this instrument.
I couldn’t turn this off once I started. It’s actually “thinking” music, almost problem-solving music...best described as being put in “alignment”

Yeah, not buying into the fear! We can expand our minds past this. They do this same scare tactic again and again and people feel they have to believe the bullshit they are fed because they don't want to remember when thier mind was expanded. What's that say for us progressing on earth? Glad someone else besides me remembers or at least knows more than colds
