I know, I know, we gotta stay positive. But hey, sometimes complaining about stuff helps relieve the stress! I’m here for ya if you’d like to unleash your annoyances! 💕☺️ No judgment, I promise. 😂💕
And the sock thing? Happens to me all the time too, and I hate it! So, I just blast up the heater in the cold weather so that I don’t have to wear socks. 😂 I hope Germany doesn’t charge too much for electricity (or water if that’s what your heater runs on there) ☺️
Absolutely utterly adorable card. Now to the point: you're not crazy. Non-sticky sticky tips are annoying; no-stick scissors that stick to everything are too; enamel dots and washi tape and stickers that don't stick to paper are extremely annoying. So are people who don't return their carts, people who ease in front of you to place an order thinking you won't notice, people who can't find their payment card in the checkout line. Life's a challenge, no doubt about it. Fortunately we all know we're lucky if these should be our biggest problems. : ) Love ya and your work, as always!
Thank you! You did it! I had back surgery #8 last week and thought I was getting better. This morning the pain is near unbearable. YOU gave me the distraction I needed to stop the tears. Truly. I love the rainbow cardinals! I'm sure there will be rainbow cardinals in heaven. You know He is saving the special stuff for heaven. Thank you for the tutorial and for the grin when I needed it most! Hugz!
Such a pretty card! The variation in colors is a tribute to your imagination and there is nothing wrong with that. Imagination, like dimension, is life!!! I love that you used one set, rather than five different ones causing a card to cost a hundred or TWO HUNDRED dollars!

OMGoodness this may be my favorite Laura card in all of time. Absolutely Adorbs!! And yes the jewel picker fiasco could cause me to lose my religion. I find I contort my mouth while I'm using these tools thinking my contortions will help the picker to hold on or let go. I have the Studio Katia picker sticker thingy and it is the best of the bunch. You may need to get a new nib. Now don't judge me but I sometimes lick the tip of the old nib and I can bring it back to life this way. A little weird but whatever works, right? Have a good day and thanks for sharing your cards and your annoyances.

I get Under Armour socks because I use socks on my cold feet all the time. They feel thick and cushioned and stay in place no matter how much I do around the house.

Such a cute card and there definitely needs to be a rainbow! I have a friend who always thinks of me when she grocery shops. I once talked about how I hate finding trolleys in a car space that I want to park in and why can't people take them back. It's about thinking of the person coming behind you. Now she always puts her trolley back! 😆
Adorable card, Laura, and it is always a fun time watching watching you create. Whilst I don't have the answer to your peeves, I do know that everyone must have peeves of their own. I daren't list mine, lol.
Every time I see a rainbow styled card I get excited because 9 times out of 10 it is a Laura card🤗I love watching your videos and listening to your stories. I have the same problem with socks (always adjusting them)! I hope you and your family are doing well in GERMANY🇩🇪 GINA PETERSON
Oh my goodness, I am cracking up! You are hilarious and so spot on with all the little annoying things you mentioned. We should start a club! The not happy but annoyed club. Too funny. That is so adorable! And you crack me up. My socks always turned on me also, I'm pretty sure they're just mischievous creatures. Once I learned this, I quit wearing them and started wearing slippers LOL I try not to let the other things bother me. It's an uphill battle at times though.

Love the card and the birdies... what makes me crazy with socks is when I lose one....I’ve been debating wearing missed matched socks but don’t like that they feel different on one foot versus the other... crazy maybe? What I can’t stand about shopping carts is when people leave their garbage behind in it... for example a used mask or a drink cup... I become nutty inside. What makes me happy is your cards and your conversations.... always make me smile 😃 thanks 🙏

Cute card! And while I understand these are cardinals, the birds in a row like that made me think of the Partridge Family.
As a friend says, Bwah ha ha! I have that sock problem, too, thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one! The cardinals are so sweet, but not sure I’d handle all the pieces well. They do make an adorable card. (I have the same jewel picker, washed as instructed, now it’s not working so well.) Fun to see all your videos this week! I love this card so much but I’m here to say i agree with you on the socks and grocery receipts. The fuzzy ladybug socks I’m wearing right now keep turning and the cute eyes keep going in the side.
I love your card and your videos, Laura! You crack me up! I agree about the socks! I have small feet (kids size 3.5-4) so women’s socks are way to big and always twist around. Little girl’s socks do too so I finally decided to buy some little boy’s socks. Usually Hanes or FotL size M and they fit just right. I’m like Goldilocks with Baby Bear’s bed, total comfort! They don’t shift or slide around and I never have to readjust the toe or heel.🤣 Also, it irks me something fierce when folks leave their receipts or garbage in the cart. Btw, I grew up in IL too! Way up north near Lake Michigan.

I have a jewel picker like your Studio Katya but made for manicurists. It works great but can get a coat of glue on it. When that happens, I take a paper towel and twist the point in it until I get the glue off. I've also found that running it under hot water before doing that helps.

I really like this card. I’m not sure why, but when you put them in a row the Partridge Family theme song immediately popped into my mind. I know they aren’t partridges, but it does look a little like that. Of course now I’ll be humming that all night long.

I love the card! Too cute! If you are wearing those no show socks they do seem to twist a lot! You can buy some that have little grippy things on the heal so they won’t move. I hope that helps! Lol!

I have misplaced my katia picker upper and now have to use the jewel picker and it’s too dang sticky, I feel your frustration! Adorable card,those cardinals are too cute. OK HERES THE WAND FIX-if the studio katia tip is wax like I believe it is then use ur fingernail and scratch off the glue and debris(thin layer) to reveal stickiness again. I have the crystal katana and its the same wax tip,i use my thumbnail to lightly scrape off a thin layer to reveal fresh stickiness💗
I have to say your gripes made me chuckle quite a few times during your video, Laura! Maybe your socks are turning now that you live in a different part of the world? LOL

Sold! I love this set and your card! As to socks, there’s nothing worse than having your socks shift around! Once I found Bombas online which is a philanthropic sock company, this problem ceased to exist for me. Give them a try!
I haven’t had to do it yet but I’ve heard that if you wash off the embellishment wand with warm soapy water & let it air dry it should be sticky again. I love your card! I definitely want this set (along with so many others!) And you truly made me laugh out loud with your annoyances. I have no advice on the socks, I’ve not had that happen to me in a long time. But it makes me crazy when people leave any kind of garbage, receipt, bag, etc in the baskets. Others need to use that so clean up after yourself! 😱 Have a great day, & thanks so much for the fun bright card.

This card is so cute! I despise people leaving stuff in carts and one reason I don't like winter is the stupid socks. I love boots and ankle boots but they eat my socks and it's so uncomfortable! I mostly wear clogs all winter because they usually don't give me sock headaches. I don't think you're crazy. I think if everyone would do things the way we want them to be done it would be a much happier world!

Such a cutie card !! I love cardinals..... they brighten up the winters & are around all year where I live..... & they have a pretty song! Yep - try washing your jewel-picker......not sure about the Studio Katia - you may need to get a new tip (& they come in CoLORS)! I just recently bought my first one & it doesn't work too well. Yep - I loved those German fall & winters..... hmmm, if your socks have nylon or acrylic in them, that could be why they tend to slip around. Well.... I am paranoid about receipts, so they go in my purse right away. Then I avoid any carts that have trash in them....especially these days - ick! Though that's hard to do in Europe, where you have to pay to get a cart...... then you're stuck with the one that comes out unless you want to keep putting tokens in the meter!

Rainbow cardinals rock! Socks....my issue is that you lose the mate. WHERE on earth do they go?? Very frustrating. So I decided to go with it & wear them mismatched. Then my OCD kicked in & I couldn't do that any more. So now, I am the crazy lady who pins them together!! No really....what a sad little life. The receipts, that's just trash, I do not like litter bugs. If you don't want it throw it in the trash, pretty simple. I just got a pick up tool & so far it is awesome. I really do agree with you, if you have little pieces is is a mandatory item. I can always count on you for great art and funny commentary. You always make me laugh & these days, that is a gift!

I had to throw out all my socks. I think the elastic was shot and they were shifting all over the place. And yes people should clean up after themselves, and not leave their trash in the cart. Oh and the sticky/not sticky jewel picker. I have three or four that I use depending on what I need to pick up. 😁 thank you for the video! Rainbows always put a smile on my face!! Have a great day!!

Beautiful card Laura! I'm right there with ya sistah. I spend most my days annoyed too! The pick up tools, the socks, the dang receipt in the cart(or the grocery list or the bag, c'mon people! Take all of your crap with you!). How about the loud phone talkers in the store, in line to check out or anywhere! I've started entertaining myself with that one....I answer back to whatever they're saying. Cause, why not?! You're in a public place having a "private" conversation. I love your rainbow card! I am curious as to where you grew up. I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois and we are a couple hours from St. Louis. My family, unlike yours, we’re all die hard Chicago Cubs fans. Dad always said he rooted for 2 teams - the Cubs and anyone playing the Cards. lol! I agree with you on the receipt being left in carts - as well as their grocery list! Ugh!

Wonderful card! Living in North America, I have only known red cardinals, but I discovered recently they actually exist in many colors. One is even red, white, and blue! I was totally shocked and amazed. So your colorful cardinals may not be as far off base as you might think.
Yes, the sock thing is definitely irritating. Maybe that is how sock hops were created: people were frantically trying to reposition their socks and it looked like a dance. LOL 😀
What a unique and such a cute card Laura!!!! I think you have to replace the tip because I'm in the same shape with my wand. I have it on back order with SSS!
That card is absolutely adorable! As for your pickup tool, my jewel picker has lost its "sticky" and when I googled it the advice was to cover the tip with mono liquid glue and let it dry. I haven't tried it yet, but I did buy the glue and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As for your socks, I have the same problem so if I knew how to fix it I'd tell you. And the Aldi receipts, you may actually be nuts about that one.

For the tip of your SK jewel picker, I just put my two fingers together and roll the bottom edge of the wax tip and it makes it a bit more pointy and sticky again. Good luck.
Clean it really good with dawn and let air dry. It should get back sticky. My husband served 6 years in the military in Germany. He loved it there. He always talks about the autobahn. lol.. I love your beautiful cards! ty for sharing💓
