What comes to my mind is that there are so many people who will never try to understand and will just judge and hurt and make assumptions. My trans sibling comes to mind. A struggle with self worth, that is rough. You just have to keep writing down the truth in your heart about how Jesus died for you and you are precious in His sight.

    I am a Christian also.
Right now we are under spiritual attack. This may be one of the reasons that you feel like you are suffering from gender dysphoria. I don't want to dismiss that you are going throw some confusion in your feels, but you are NOT transgender. This is not something you have been born with. The idea of transgender is something very new. I believe that it only became a thing around 2013.
As Christians we understand that God has made the Earth and all that is in it with order and design.
    Jesus said, in Matthew 19
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
This is something that we have never questioned until now. So we have to ask ourselves what is the outside force that is tricking us to question our gender. Is gender even a real thing?
    Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

It's pretty important to not state what you believe without doing any research when there is research available. It's definitely not new. It's been around for a long long time. It's not up to you to tell people what they are feeling or aren't feeling. I couldn't do it for you, and you can't do it for this person. You can say what you believe a person is feeling or isn't feeling, but unless you can physically be inside of someones mind, you can't say what they ARE DEFINITELY feeling or not feeling.
