My mother sold Tupperware back in the 80’s and early 90’s and I remember her hosting parties at our house with her friends and co-workers. For some reason, it always felt so cozy and comforting to listen to them laughing and joking downstairs after we had gone up to bed. Can’t wait to watch! ❤️
Omg so my mum never hosted a Tupperware party when I was a kid but I absolutely know that comforting feeling while you're in bed hearing your family friends having a good time 🥰
I know the feeling but my 90s version is going to bed while my family stayed up and watched tv and cracked jokes to eachother. I swear this is the reason I love ASMR nowadays.
This channel is becoming a catalogue of all the best bits of different time periods, I love it so much! I hope we get to see something from the 50s... maybe even something further back than the 1900s 👀
This is the umpteenth time I've watched this video and I loved the script before, but now I love it even more because I realized Judy was probably born in the 1930s, and the reason her mom was so cheap and saved everything was probably due to the Great Depression. The depth in your scripts is amazing. ❤
My Mom not only hosted Tupperware parties, she also hosted "Wicker parties" where the items offered for sale were ALL wicker....or was every form of wicker you could imagine from wicker bedside tables and giant rattan chairs to wicker medicine cabinets with working wicker doors, rattan lampshades and those sets of three wicker fish (big medium and small) that were inexplicably on everyone's bathroom wall in 1982. It was the most late 70s/early 80s thing of all time!
@@PeaceandSaraity Yay, new subscriber here! The way you take your time and pause as needed when talking is what makes for a better sleep. Thanks for the amazing content!😃
I know this is from forever ago now but can we get more of this character? I have watched this one so many times bc I just love this lady. It’s also nostalgic - my mom had several of these items when I was a kid 🥹
This was so cozy and lovely but it also made me realize that the majority of my grandmother’s Tupperware is like the original Real Deal stuff and it’s all still in her cupboards lol
Funny story.. after watching this video about five times (because I LOVE it), and learning so much about the different Tupperware items from your demonstrations, I went ahead and ordered an actual set of those "air-tight leak-proof" bowls from a Tupperware consultant here!! 🥣 (You should get a commission!😂🙂) Please do more Tupperware Party videos!! ❤️ It's so good!
Oh HELL yes. I've listened to Cara ASMR's Tupperware Saleslady video so many times I could recite it from memory and getting upgraded to this kind of quality tupperware content is basically the highlight of my week
Your southern voice reminded me of the times the ladies at church would meet and whisper around their ideas for church lunches - I could not stay awake. Amazing video
OMG I was just thinking about my first Tupperware party that I went to back in the early 90’s. It was was so exciting and relaxing. This should be very nostalgic. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Gaby! I always share the love and gift a lot of it to friends & family who enjoy vintage items as well. If only I had the space for all these beautiful things! I love creating these for you all and it's so nice working with props that have so much history! Appreciate you so much!
4:50 Ever since I saw this video I think about that fridge, like, once a week. It is so crazy that that is an actual Tupperware ad. Oh my god. If I opened a fridge and it looked like that I would feel like I was having a stroke. That's gotta be at least 75 Tupperware containers and the only way to know what's in every single one is to look inside. That is so nuts. I saw this video so long ago but that ad will forever be filed away in my brain. What a nightmare lol.
I actually have an old mix-n-stor from my great grandma! I was born 45 years after 1960 but it's still in near perfect condition and I use it all the time. Everytime I use it, I think of my grandma so seeing it in this video made me imagine her buying it for the first time. I love it!
These decade role plays are the best things to ever exist. I’m so mad I binge watched every Avon one. I NEED MORE UGH. This is TOTALLY your niche 😍 (aside from makeup vids). ily so much
I love your avon videos, and now this!!! It reminds me of my uncle's wife in the 90s early 2000's she did both and I remember my grandma having a bunch of avon and tupperware products at home because of it, she wasn't as enjoyable and relaxing as you though. Thank you for helping me to sleep better today too, I appreciate all the hard work you put into these beautiful videos, you are truly wonderful.
Awww! Lex, thank you so much for being here! I'm so glad I can bring you some nostalgia and I hope you are reminded of sweeter, simpler times. Thank you for sharing and sending you a huge hug!
I just love your soft spoken voice so much already, but something about this southern accent really takes it to the next level. So very soothing and tingly! Your creativity is truly boundless, Sarai. Amazing video as always! 💜🌼
Also, my mom used to go to “Tupperware Parties” back in the early 2000s, but that was definitely code for some other type of party where they were definitely selling something other than Tupperware. 🤣🤣
This reminds me of the Tupperware party song by Anita Bryant. Me and my sister used to put the album on in the giant wooden stereo and dance to it. Our poodle would run between us. I miss those days. It was the mid 70s but our mom sold Tupperware. Fun fun 🤩
This was perfection. Showed up in my suggested vids and I'm subscribing after this one! It was so well put together. When you said "Is your kitchen a happy kitchen? Somethin to think about." I was like omg this sounds so much like what these Tupperware reps would actually say. The background, the catalog, the accent, the dress...It was all just super genuine and so relaxing!
@@skirsnis I remember zoo animals that you could interchange and make wacky creations. Also there was a lego like item called build o fun where you could build cars, buildings, etc.
Oh my! This reminds me of my mum being obsessed with Tupperware when I was a kid, she took us to some parties and came home almost weekly with something. My dad hated it. But funnily after their divorce when my mum left the Tupperwares stayed 😂 Honestly they were good! Especially for clumsy kids. I might snatch some of them when I visit my Dad 😁
So I was cleaning one of my kitchen cupboards today and came across the tuppaware jelly mold. My mum had given them to me and I thought I had lost them. I have 1 big one, one smaller one, 5 shapes for the bottom and then one extender type piece. Don't have the lids though but doesn't stop the molds working.
OMG! This is so retro! I’m having flashbacks ( especially the salt and pepper shakers)! I don’t know where you find these items but you have turned them back into the treasures they once were. Thank you!
