Hi Diane, I love your work, it's a huge inspiration for me towards some ball joint dolls I intend to make so I will be exploring some of your methods. I'd be interested to see your process in actually building your models before creating plaster casts for them. I imagine you're using clay to sculpt first? Your hand and foot forms are incredible. Keep it up!
Thank you. I just started working with a new video editor and hope to have a lot more videos coming out soon. I work in plasticine. It's similar to clay but doesn't dry out.
Superb 💯🔝✔️😍👍💕... I got a few questions...1-How did you prevent the plaster mold sticking to each other when you casted the second one on top of the other? 2- Do you always have to repeat the liquid soap treatment everytime you'll make a part in paper or is it a 1 time thing?
Hi. Thank you 🙂 I use the Vaseline and mineral oil mixture as a mold release for plaster mold pieces. The 10 coats of mold soap is a one time treatment.
Great video, Diane. I enjoy your honesty in showing mistakes, and then how you solve them.
Thanks Roberta. I really like that part of the process. It's sometimes painful, but it's where the growth happens. 😅

I live in Ajijic and SO glad I found your videos!
How great! We thought about moving there, but my husband's family is from here. It was a great decision. We love Colima and Mexico. ❤️
Se ve muy divertido.
Siiii! Para mi, uno de mis actividades en el taller mas divertidos. Gracias !
Love it! You Have a very good technique!
Thank you!
Good job - you are amazing!
Haha! Thank you Anne ❤️
Queremos ver cuando pones el papel en el molde, y que tipo de pegamento usas para las capas de papel?
En uno do los próximos videos enseño el técnico de poner el papel. Y creo que hice unos videos con eso en el pasado. Gracias ❤️

The carnauba wax with turpentine has to be done every time before we put paper in the mold.
Thanks for the great questions. 👏🏻🤓
