In this War Robots video, I go over my reasons as to why I would personally build the Fenrir as one of your first robots. Not only has Fenrir survived multiple metas, it’s one of the best tanks at holding down beacons. The three builds or setups which I’ll be focusing on in this video will be the Devastator-Havoc, Ember-Igniter and Hammer-Mace. All of these setups can be built in Workshop and are extremely effective. While I didn’t feature the Redeemer-Taran build, this setup can still work up until around Expert League - after that you really want to transition to one of the three builds mentioned as they are more potent when dealing with newer meta.

Fenrir is by far my favourite robot and my favourite playstyle. Charge in and take lots of hits but distract the enemies, while your team caps beacons and helps you.
but that's ONLY if your team is skilled enough to cap beacons :)

I’ve 1v1’d the whole enemy team for like a minute while we were losing and my team didn’t change any of the other beacons so we still lost
Fenrir is one of those robots that will survive througth out all most of updates like ravana, scorpion, etc..

I really appreciate these types of positive videos. They really help players with developing in the game.
The big drone rework did quite affect it imo, it used to be way stronger with the instant heals and absorber shields
Fenrir is my first special edition robot that i won from christmas event. I run it with stake and labrys, making it brutal both at range and up close. I dont have any legendaries on it but I run manni. I use reviver on it, and i'd say the shield is also quite strong and valuable.

I was waiting for this video! I recently got a Hammer/Mace Fenrir and it's wrecking people in Master League.
I've been using 3 Fenirs in Champion League with excellent results. Now that the Nether, Angler and Lynx have been nerfed, it makes things a little easier. I have one Fenrir with MK3 Bristant and Shatter weapons using the Daltoki drone for that extra 20% damage. I usually destroy robots by the end of one full clip.😁

Hi Adrian!👋 I have mine set up with redeemer and taran's but I'm working on the boombox for the sonics the mediums are done. I got caught up in the silver buildup where now it's cheaper in the beginning, but MK2 is heavier even though it's all the same per se. Except now I have to pay twice for the buildup to get to MK2/12 or if I have the tokens MK3. Right now I'm totally F2P unless there's a 99 cent or a $1.99 special and that depends on the monthly DAV check. Medical bills and all that comes with. Fenrir is by far my most favourite robot because it allows me to charge in and take damage to distract the enemy but most of the time my teammates just doesn’t cap beacons and stay back
My Fenrir has been in my hangar since I got it. I've never taken it out. Favorite builds are ignighters and sonics. Your next robot will be Typhon. Blackout with flames is so good.

Been running 3 of them in champions league since they come out. Keep chasing the odd meta robot but always come back to trusty fenrirs just updating weapons now n again. Sonic version is a solid ocho counter. 👍

I have a 5 fenrir hangar. Love it.
Next bot build will probably be another tank Invader or a flying bot Seraph.
My favorite weapons for Fenrir is the Flames with paralysis. I've been using that for about 1yr now. I think its better than shotgun or sonic builds which I have also used.
My guess for the other three bots, I think the Typhon is definitely one. It's incredibly good when played well, its ability remains strong even in the current meta, and 4 medium weapons is a lot of firepower. Plus, all sorts of builds work on it. Mace, Sonic, Flames, even Punisher T works very well for a low budget option.
I feel like the Scorpion might be one, but imo, while Scorpion has never been a bad bot, its never been a must-have. its still an amazing assassin, but current meta bots aren't its best matchups.
There's definitely a beacon capper on this list, so maybe the Skyros. Maybe the Loki, but I think the Skyros is more relevant since it has higher burst damage potential.
If there is a healer on this list, it'll probably be the Mender. It's a strong healer, and one of the only healers that heal Gray Damage. Or maybe the Demeter. its Absorber is very strong for pushing if your opponents don't have a shieldbreaker. Khepri is another possibility but I think its a lot weaker than it used to be, so probably not.

Been running mine for years, 2 immune amp and a repair amp, as well as taran redeemers. Been working great for me, though may need to replace the weapons soon.

Puncher Mace is great hybrid build imo, better than the typical Hammer Mace

Fenrir is just the best. It along with the Minos are the last remnants of actually balanced items
Not sure if I would say it was "balanced". It was actually very strong when it first came out just like many other robots.
@@davidboi4025 I don't think you can really blame the content creators. Content creators such as myself base videos more on what people are searching for. I base my content around that. The game also tends to evolve on what players want and what they want often is shown in what they purchase - by purchase I don't necessarily mean just with money. If you are a free player for example and you run multiple Fenrir or Ravanas then that's a sign that you like that particular bot. Most times players will run something because of how powerful it is. I believe when Pixonic mentions "players buy into power" this is what they are referring to. I've seen this not just in this game but many others. I also don't think players realize that quite often what's in the game is a result of their decisions and what they pick as a whole. If all players gravitate towards shotgun weapons that do high damage there is a high probability in the future we'll see a new shotgun weapon that does exactly this. It's all based on psychology and behaviour.

I once had Linda Cano, which wasn't that good for a legendary pilot. Also Nickolas which I finally traded in for Bernadette Wolfe and haven't looked back. The Fenir has been a great bot for many year's
Fenrir is really good but its worse enemy is the ophion with the constant blast effect that bypasses all types of resistance. Dot damage too if you cant heal it off
Every robot has a weakness - even the Ophion :)
The Ophion is strong when in flight but if it landed in front of a sonic Fenrir we all know how that battle will end up lol.

The sonic very strong but it the enemy faster you can't win this because the fenrir slowly in shape shift mode..
Another question please, the unstable conduit works well with the skills of paralysis drone?

Love these bots. They are fun and do pretty well.
Amazing like there aways a mender near!!!! And never had a Linx or orochi with burst damage weapons

Khepri is definitely top of the top 5 a fast tank, great support bot and good damage dealer
I wouldnt call it a tank since they always die so easily. I have a mercury and it eats khepris alive as well as my imugi

Hey adrian, could u tell me how i can balance my hanger well. Is it okay if i dont have a super fast beacon runner but all strong bots with a lot of fire power with decent speed. I usually run all brawlers and no range at all 🗿
Yeah i have a sonkc fenrir maxed out with 40 lvl pilot and mk2 lvl 1 all the weapons and is still beating ass its my favourite bot
All this in master || i have it a lvl 5 immune amp a rep amp lvl1 and a nuc amp lvl1 (should i max the modules or the weapons) btw the shell is an another robot tou should put in this series with the harbon weapons
Adrian I use a hybrid build on both of my Fenrir’s puncher and mace
I have a mk3 fenrir, but nothing else on it is max except for the hammer and maces. Wanna know how it does? It dies in 10 seconds.

While using Bernadette Woff as your Legendary Pilot of the Fenrir, which medium weapons are good when Bernadette have the Traditionalist skill?
I wouldn't use traditionalist. The hp is not enough to offset the loss of the fenrirs insane defence. Also, it cuts your firepower which is bad as well
Adrian is nemesis is good with labrys?
I would say the next bot should be a scorpion since I built one back in gold league got the shotgun weapons and the build still is viable in expert league for me so I would suggest scorpion
The venom and toxin weapons work very well with scorpion too
Next will be typhoon or khepri.

I would go with Demeter, Kepri and Skyros to complete this buildable hangar…
Ravana mace or sonic (kestrel)
Fenrir hammer mace (armadillo or beak)
Demeter flames, mace or icerockets (kestrel on mace paralysis for flames and ice)
Kepri Magnetar (beak or patron)
Skyros icerockets or sonic (whiteout)
As titan at first an Arthur and after leveling that up a bit I would buy a Minos to have a tank titan and a fast titan…
As backup bots (when meta shifts) I would go with Raven, Loki, Fafnir, Ares, behemoth and maybe something like Erebus, shell, typhon…
Something in this direction…
On the weapons I would go with the explosive shotguns, Magnetar, pulsar, puncher, flames, sonic, icerockets, decay family (if you win some in black market) and at the beginning (and backup) for sure with tarans and redeemer too..
Depends on luck and your hangar you already have I would keep other stuff too for backup (changing meta) like fire rockets, nucleon family and energy shotguns…
In new weapons I wouldn’t invest anymore as long as I don’t get a full set for free and it keeps stable in damage and reload, so at least waiting a couple of rebalances and see how it keeps up, when it’s still usable after 6 months/ 1 year I would level it up when it’s still usable…
Just not worth to invest in the game anymore, pix and the game just lost my trust, I can’t believe that game will see the 11th anniversary (just a bit less then a year from now) and when it’s still there I dont think that it still have that much player anymore without some casuals…

What about the acid weapons and radiation weapons? I have radiation on my fenrir rn but i want to switch to acid because they ignore defence points. Would love to know your thoughts on that
Acid are not great right now. The damage is really low, and the dot isn't strong enough to kill well.

When someone has an explosive shotgun with a good set up, a fenrir on attack is hard to ignore.
Not saying im happy about its Ultimate version coming and ik it will be hard to get but maybe it will be enough against an OCHO

Definitely the Fenrir. The Fenrir has actually survived multiple metas - the Ravana even moreso. The Fafnir while the idea of flying is fun… you actually don't want to choose this robot in the current meta UNLESS you run maybe the Daredevil Fafnir (Daredevil is a pilot skill that boosts your damage but you can't fly). Aside from having multiple pilots and drones in the game that give you Shield Breaker we also have Unstable Conduit which is why the flying Fafnir, Ophion, Erebus, Typhon and Dagon will be hit pretty hard over the next month or so until Unstable Conduit is changed again. In case you're wondering… Unstable Conduit is a seasonal Active Module which means the stats now are likely to change in a month or two from now.

def skyros or loki. adrian loves his beacons and those 2 r the best at that. i personally recommend actually nemesis cuz the short ability gives u more choice on how to use it very easy to use but in a pros hand very desdly

That’s true but I use it in masters and it demolishes a lot of the top tier robots. If you use maces then it can become a powerhouse. My only weakness is not having a high level drone and the newton. And if you use phase shift with the plane drone it’s pretty strong

@@thk.helios You mentioned the nemesis which has a built-in weapon and built-in absorber shield. While the nemesis ability is active its still an easy target. A morbidly easy target i shall add
@@Villainarc_Leo that’s why i said easy to play but even better with right skills. the nemesis is back in the test server but the shield doesn’t even come up just the built in weapons. i still managed to get living legend with the bot. that’s where the skills come in even without shield it works

I run a full hanger of them with a ivory ravana. 3x cryptic and one Reindeer special edition. Great tanks just the speed isn't the best
I used kestrel for speed, it was awesome but now it's nerfed but still good plus if you use 1-2 immune amplifiers it's awesome.

I would not use the Nebula. The reason why Nebula isn't good anymore is because we can't put resistance chips on it since drones don't use chips anymore. When we had resistance and the Absorber Shield it made the Nebula very good. I would stick with the ones shown in the video.

toxic weapons also works, but not higher that expert league. they are bad at taking down the yellow shields

At this point in the meta no. If you're still building your hangar and you're in a lower league I would maybe try something like Redeemer-Tarans. Other really good options are Hammer-Mace, Puncher-Igniters. Hope this helps!
Sadly ochokochi rn is what fenrir is but like 4 times tankier 3 times faster and can even kill titans
I've actually killed quite a few Ochokochis with Fenrir. You need to know when to fire though - aka... don't fire when their ability is active.

I'm using a combination of Unstable Conduit but also the Paladin. With Paladin and Durability Extender it heals grey damage and adds more health (with Durability Extender). Hope this answers your question.

Everything is better brisant and shatter 😅 I have 2 shatters but only lvl1 mk2, so I use mace hammer instead till I upgrade them more as lvl 1 mk2 is not better than mk2 lvl 12 mace hammer
Actually I bet the havoc and devastator is better just for the sake of killing ochokochies since bristant and shatter won't kill it even after it's ability because of it powerfull healing so until the Ocho get nerfed out of the meta the sonic weapon are the way to go
I think a mentor should make a cryptic Fenrir giveaway cuz this bot is too Special and Rare and strong.
I mean we already got the giftbringer version for free so most people wouldn't want a Fenrir anymore

I wouldn't run Glacier with the Igniters - they fire differently plus have different ranges. I would watch my video as I suggest which builds I would stick to for the newer players.
