    Great videos! However, range no longer outputs a list. It generates a sequence which will vanish after being used. Far better than creating a list and sucking up memory with a large list. Say you need a million iterations, a very big list, not for a generator. Best of luck, keep up the good work.

      @PythonSimplified  3 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      Thank you so much Ted! 😀
      You're a 100% correct! range is definitely not a traditional list, but it's super easy to convert into one with: my_list = [*range(10)]
      I'll definitely go over your point in the dedicated Range video (hopefully I'll get to it soon).
      I described it as a list here because it was easier to imagine it as a list, but you're right - I should have described it as a "list-like" object instead 😉
      Thanks again for the great feedback! I really appreciate it! 😊

I personally don't think i need a book when listening to you. then I would thank TH-cam algorithm programmers for writing such a wonderful program that can adapt quick to a users need (I didn't find your video on my first or second trial searching for videos to help me understand for loops, I'm guessing the reason why I found it this time around was because the algorithm finally understood that I needed a video that breaks it down to it's simplest and easiest to understand form)
    And last but definitely not the list a BIG thanks goes to the creator of this channel for this wonderfully made and easy to understand video I was beginning to lose hope of ever understanding the for loop concept, until I found your video, thank you so much and keep up the good/lords work
