@@jrdonaldson2053 I have been watching the 92 and 93 back to back championships almost on a weekly basis. Way too many stars to mention. Tom Henke and Duane Ward was an awesome duo. Duane Ward as the setup man and Tom Henke as the closer. Watching highlights of these two in the series brought some good memories.
I think this is my favorite game of the whole 2015 post season. To be fair, there are a LOT of really good/fun games to choose from, but this one just really clinches it for me. I remembered the whole "Cain scores from first on a single by Hosmer" against the Blue Jays - but I forgot that it came in such a pivotal moment. 8th inning, winning run. Absolutely friggen insane! That's juuuuuust below Alcides Escobar lead off inside the park HR in the 1st inning of WS game 1 for my favorite moments of that post season.
Royals scout noticed Bautista kind of tosses the ball to the cut off man without much zip on the ball, so in that situation and with Cains speed he was ready to take advantage if the ball was hit to Bautista and he did exactly that.
@@ryanc9888 I think it was Rusty Kuntz, the first-base coach at the time, who noticed Bautista's tendency to do a spinning throw into second base on a line drive to right to prevent the batter from advancing to second. In fairness to Bautista, it's normally a smart and effective move-but not when it's a speedster like Lorenzo Cain on the basepaths.
he made issues with nearly any good hitter with a name. Would brag about how he was gonna target this or that player, to a point even his teammates weren't on his side anymore with it.
I remember thinking Josh is 0 for 4 and he's due for a hit here, grounds out to Moustakas 🤮 the 2nd HR by KC shouldnt have counted, this series made me sick.
No, there were two pitches in that AB that weren’t shown, They were ABSOLUTE balls and were called strikes which put them both in a hole. It was absolute Bull, I was watching the game
There was typical anti Canadian team calls the Moustakas fan interference home run should’ve been a double if it was vs Texas would’ve been called back. Then those strikes on revere that should’ve been balls
@@drakelee8649 maybe 🤔 I just think this was so bad lol I still have not gotten over it lol. They couldn’t even hit a sac fly. Also watching this back, that damn HR should have been called back.

as a jays fan this still hurts. Pompey on third 😭
Literally just need someone to do a sac hit anything in the air and in the outfield
"HE CAN FLY" has to be the most underrated call in baseball history
That blue Jays team remind me of the Yankees alot of power hitters who also strikeouts a ton you need contact hitters to win in October
as a jays fan, it's hard to see them lose. But the royals did amazing.
Jays were so close and with Osuna on the mound in the 9th. Pompey with 90 feet to Home plate. This series was close.
Bautista left on deck to end the game with guys on base😐😐😐😐😐

@assassin 24 For real bro
The Royals 3rd base Coach definitely got redemption in this game after the 2014 World Series.
He made the right call in both situations. Gordon would've been out by a country mile at the plate.
Gordon would’ve been out
Redemption isn’t the right word… more like satisfaction.
Love this Royals team from 2015. It was such an amazing year. Thanks for the memories :)

One hell of a game.
As a yanks fan, this royals team was fun as hell to watch.
I agree!
Im glad Im not the only one enjoying memories. Very close.

The Blue Jays' first postseason series loss since the 1991 ALCS.

Josh was not

As a blue jays fan 8 years later I keep saying to myself after watching this: they only needed a sacrifice fly or a suicide squeeze to tie it 😩
They didn't show the right vantage point for that Moustakas' home run in this highlight. It was a legit home run.
