This is his first self written solo album about his deep experiences and struggles as a growing veteran artist from the time he became a SM trainee in 2007 to debuting with EXO 2012 then making his second debut with SuperM and now finally making his debut as a solo artist. The pre-release is a gift to fans showing his deep emotions of affection to EXOLs telling us that he misses seeing & meeting with us and has come as a savior to save us by stealing our hearts ❤️🥰 while also showing his individual EXO story.
Everyone has their own thoughts OMG R.I.P. because I have NO words since this pre-release dropped its been a KILLA love song; WE ARE ALL DOOMED 👻🥰 but we don’t mind. It gives such similarity to TAEMIN concepts mixed with his own style 👀 he taking “Pretty Boy” too a whole new level and don’t even get me started on his fashion (ICONIC); I see the amount of inspiration KAI has gotten from being Taemin’s friend while working and watching his solowork. It is so exciting and speechless being able to finally see his full teleportation superpower in use; he literally teleporting through all EXOplanet dimensions with every scene being different which I believe represents each EXO member; the beginning gives me assassin creed mixed with mirror’s edge vibes and the space cowboy scene I think he got some inspiration from TXT Yeonjun’s outfit from “Blue Hour” Lol *I’m still trying to gather my thoughts; but after watching KAI Solo Debut Showcase Vlive he explained this track is a RB Sensational Love Song to EXO-Ls (gift to fans). In the MV he represents as the saviour teleporting to different places wanting to save us 🥰😇 glowing silhouette of him. He also explains the key points his ABS 👻 along with dance & lyric killing parts within the video on top of talking about his album process with each track that he got inspiration from movies & why teleportation is important to him and right toward the end when he began reading supportive comments he couldn’t help but start to cry 😭 One thing I cant handle is seeing extremely attractive and adorable young men crying especially asians* Teleportation KAI is in full effect in this solo album where he expressing all of his emotions of love & appreciation toward EXOLs #KAI_Mmmh #MASTERPIECE
Could you please not do this? People keep contributing KAI's hardwork to Taemin and it's so disrespectful. The whole reason this is a self titled album is because he's expressing himself. No where has Kai said anything here was inspired by Taemin but by his own experiences and career. From the choreo showing his dance background to the dancing in water scene being a call back to his predebut teaser and the Baby Don't Cry performance. Kai's always been a fan of this type of rnb and he's been known since his debut for his sexy/sensualness. The only thing he got from Taemin was some advice here and there along side advice from Baekhyun and Suho. The concept, visuals, and choreo are all Kai. Please stop undermining his efforts.

I don’t think it’s a reach to assume they both influence each other considering Kai filmed the choreo scenes in the same venue as Taemins Danger. He may have even advised him. It’s not an insult to Kai if he’s been influenced by his best friend that he admires just like Taemin is also influenced by Michael Jackson etc. Nothing is new under the sun. Pointing that out is not an insult and doesn’t diminish his expression since what he has executed is uniquely his and he killed it.
