You may want to check out the "Legacy of Valyria" submod for AGOT that is set to be released in the next few weeks. It's technically a merger of the "Colonizable Valyria" mod you already briefly checked out with the "Essos Expansion" Mod that really fills in huge tracts of lands to the East and is honestly pretty much essential imo to have a somewhat "balanced" Essos & Westeros
I meant that more as a: it takes way too long to get landless going whereas in reality he'd achieve almost all of it in universe in maybe like a decade vs 30 years.

Tho the ur extremely susceptible to raiding whenever the realm goes to war. And idk if this is a bug but there's a "Didn't back me in war" penalty modifier, even if u try to follow ur liege during mega wars.

Going to the First of the First Men for Pilgrimage was a strange choice. It's beyond the wall. No Westerosi lord, not even a Northerner, would go beyond the borders of civilization. And I don't think the Night's Watch would allow anyone except their own to go beyond the wall, much less a huge pilgrimage procession. And the First Men population acting civil to a Southern Lord? A Westerosi going beyond the Wall while the Night's Watch and the Wall exists is one of the things that makes no sense, made during the transition from the book/TV show into a CK3 Mod. I think the procession should've ended in Winterfell, where the Night King first met his defeat during the last war and has the biggest Weirwood Tree in the North. But the Piety gain was nice. As well as the sightseeing. The Roads made it much easier to travel, thank the Old Gods.
I love your story segments even though they are short. Have you considered going full narrative? Or would that be too difficult to implement with the gameplay? I am planning a CKIII Campaign that is Roads to Power, which I will combine with a total war mod that is 1051, or 751 considering. At the same time, I would prefer to do more narrative less gameplay. CKIII is easy to approach but harder to learn for me. Should I go full narrative with less gameplay? Or more story segments? I'm not sure what to do and you're great at making this stuff. Some people I talked to said they would want to watch a 1 hour video. But should that one hour video be a story or gameplay? That I can't figure out.
Wouldn’t be difficult but very would probably watch it. I know someone who did it for a bit and it seemed to burn them out pretty quick. I like it as a set piece for the broader story (and tbh I have one coming up that utilizes it a bit more throughout) but I don’t think I’d ever go full narrative with like ck3 or anything

Here's my full plan: I have been wondering whether there are TH-camrs out there that combine Total War and CKIII. There's also a mod called Crusader Wars that effectively allows you to play out the battles in 1212. However, I prefer doing it more manually since 1212 always seems to pick the most boring environments to fight for some reason. I have been reading the Roads to Power DLC and think that's a great series. I would be making videos campaign-wise with CKIII gameplay and narrative and cinematic elements to showcase Total War Battles alongside it. And I'll be honest: TW has not been cranking out as much big historical stuff as it needs to. So, seeing that there's already a mod called 1061 AD, I think, set in the Age of Charlemagne era, that has custom cities, too! So, I want to create an AAR-style video with total war and CKIII gameplay. The question is, would you want to watch it? Do you want to see more TH-camrs doing this sort of thing?
@@MedjayofFaiyum You can absolutely do a hybrid of both if you feel like it. I think TW and CK3 can work well together -- there's even the Crusader Wars mod which I see you mentioned. It can be a bit messy when it comes to recording and editing since battles can make wars MUCH longer but if you keep your focus tight it should be fun.

Barristan Selmy is the pinnacle of the Kingsguard. Lord Mudd would be comparable to Jaime with his stats. Dayne is that legendary figure we can't fully understand so not sure of the comparison. But not Selmy, even though Selmy is far older. Jaime considered Selmy his better even though Jaime was in his prime.
What version of the game are you playing this on? I'm trying to get back on AGOT after a long time. It looks like they added a lot, but it keeps bugging out on me.
The economies are so bad in AGOT for equivalent late/high medieval cultures and development in vanilla. Even with 2 counties, you should be making 10 gold a month, not 1.

Part of agot by default. It’s the dynasty customizer feature when making a custom character. You have to select it though

Custom character is in ck3 by default. For the nickname I think the submod is just called custom nickname.
