In this video, Matt Bazgier shows us a 3-beat djembe rhythm and helps us understand some basics of hand drumming. You do not need to know how to read western music to play these rhythms, just follow along with the instructions on screen. The rhythm in this video is a 3 beat rhythm (similar to what would be called a waltz in classical music) and variations.

Personally I would count this as a 12/8 in triplets: 1&a, 2&a,3&a,4&a but I guess it could also be a 4 bar phrase in 3/4?

If there's a bass drum going at 1234 can i play this tune in 123🤔 I'm enjoying this a lot.

You mean like overlaying a bass onto every beat?

Well you technically could but you would have to play your "123" (which would be 3/4 or maybe 6/8 time signature) at a speed where the first beat of both rhythms happen at the same time, which in this case would be a slower speed ... or whoever is playing that rhythm has to do so.
That would be a 3 over 4 polyrhythm and is not easy to do. It would be easier to play (for example) in 4/4 time to a song in 4/4.
Honestly I really am not sure what you're trying to ask. :)
