I'm an artist and I have alcohol inks and I'm so all over this next time! However, I'll be using regular alcohol inks (which is cheaper). I'll also be using 91% alcohol, which is better than the 70% you usually can find (the higher alcohol content will help spreading as well as blending). I can't wait to try!

Thank you for postong this. I was trying to use it like blooming ink. Complete fail! I ended up painting the whole swatch with it and give gave it this real nice light blueish silverish chrome look which was pretty cool.

Do you have to use gel top coat?
Do you top coat after the desired look?

Yes and yes. The gel top coat gives in the perfect finish for the ink to glide over.

I was wondering do you have to put a top coat over your dip powder before you apply the ink?

In order for the ink to spread, yes.
