@CoverDrive69 sorry to reply only now, i took about three weeks to get familiar with react and know everything that i was doing!! this video helped me a lot cause javascript was for me one of the hardest languages i had to learn, it was really difficult for me to get a good grasp on it, so after i watched this whole video i read a lot of articles about react and code from other users as well. i hope this helps, good luck! :)

Maybe we all will get confused too if only start with reading, codecademy react course is started with coding with the jsx syntax, you will "know" basic concept in first minutes (i skipped the course after just 20 minutes lol).
But this guy provide how do it practically for real project.

Dear Dev, I learnt more in your 43 minutes than I learnt in 5 hours of a very popular course by a very popular instructor which almost made me give up on ReactJS. Not only your course enabled me to write my own components but I can also think ahead. You have a good personality, screen presence, and very friendly teaching method. Please keep up the good work and I hope your channel grows.

This is the best tutorial for beginners!! almost every react tutorial I found on TH-cam is not beginner friendly such as:
    1. You show us how to get NPM. Every tutorial on youtube just type on their terminal the commands..
    2. You show us every purpose of files, functions and so on.
Man, you're amazing! keep it up!

I love this guy,...just found him randomly,..bruh,...do like a 9 hour all inclusive React video from scratch,..I'm saying from installation all the way to a polished website. Your sarcasm helps to make it through. I think a formal understanding of the commands,..and then how to implement them together,..and then calling from the API whatever that is,..you're the man for the job.

es6 is javascript whereas jsx is part of react so why would you list stuff twice? That gives you two weeks for each which is enough to get your head around the basics.

Dude, thank you for getting to the point. Also, thank you for being relaxed and joking around; I actually look forward to watching your tutorials; so many other tutorials give me the same feeling as taking online classes and I immediately loose interest. Your tutorials are the only ones that I have been able to follow. I like Brad Traversy but they seem to all be so much longer than they need to be. That other dude, Web Dev simple guy, his are ok, but I kinda feel like I am listening to an audiobook, so I fall asleep after 5 minutes. The other million or so coding tutorials on TH-cam have such terrible audio for whatever reason; TH-cam should have more tutorials on how to keep a Microphone from clipping.
React has seemed so difficult. I have watched so many tutorials on React and after watching this, I have no idea why it was so hard to grasp. People on TH-cam seem to give SO MUCH information that is irrelevant, while also leaving out so much vital information. Now that I get what is going on, React just make so much since as a language. When I start learning JavaScript at first, I almost immediately thought "why doesn't anyone stick to mainly JavaScript and just dynamically populate it the HTML pages, which to me is why React just seems to make so much sense.

Thank you so much for doing these "basics" videos, the way you delete all the generated content to show the "simplest" version of how React works is incredibly helpful!

I consider myself a fairly average programmer.. I know java, c#, C, nodeJS, javascript.. but when I started learning react I could not wrap my head around the concepts.. even if I understood them at the moment I forgot them later...!!
You have taught it in such a way that It's more logical to understand and easy to remember..
I would pay for your course and the way you teach

I take a Udemy course, watch the same react video over and over and can’t understand shit. Then I watch your video and and now it all makes sense. Why TF can’t other instructors explain it as easy as you do?! As always, thanks info man! Great video!

Very nice explanation, and clearing my mind, I am now doing full stack course, we just start react 2 weeks ago, but since corona attacking Germany, we have to do our course online since last week, and Im pretty slow then the other students, and my teacher explaining incredibly fast, so now here I am start again from zero with react. And hopefully I could catch up with my classmates! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
