A great hunt! ❤ I really like the Alphabet 10p's, though I haven't yet had a proper look for them😊 The Q and A voiceover is really useful as well, and makes what would otherwise be a rather dull hunt (Not in this case!😂) into something interesting to look forward to!
I tell you what, I quite like the idea of the 10p hunts being voiceovered, I think it works for this kind of video, I love your content, you got me looking at my change more closely! Thanks for that
Thanks for answering my question however I believe it was the 50p hunt after I asked it that you found 4 odd sounding coins. Maybe, like vapidity finding the M, I should ask if you have given up hunting the Kew Gardens.
@Chrostopher I found a 50p in my change today of king charles wearing a crown. Should I hang on to it as the others I've seen don't have him wearing a crown.
Yes, the crown version was only made for collectors to buy, it wasn't put into circulation. So someone has bought that from the Royal Mint as a collectable and then it's been spent. These types of coins are called NIFC (Not Intended For Circulation) coins and it's extremely rare to find one circulating
@@whoknowsnotme oh cool. Thanks for the info. Well it won't be in circulation from now on either then, so it didn't have its freedom for very long did it? lol.
Why do you not keep track of the number of coins in each bag is as it should be, i.e. if you get a foreign coin or a 20p coin, do you check that the correct number of coins were in the bag to start with?
I think it would be a cool idea to set a ceiling for how many of each coin you are willing to keep, e.g no more than "2017" 2017 shields, or no more than your "year of birth" number of Christopher Ironsides...
Hi Christopher I was wondering if you could collect any American coin what would you collect? A penny other than the world record year, a nickel,a dime, a quarter, a half dollar, or a dollar. If you come across one of those in a coin hunt which would you keep?
You actually made 69p on the foreign coins, with the star find being the Norway 10 krone benign 74p as well as the quarter being 20p and the 20p being, well, 20p
Hi Christopher, I have found a 1992 10p with a rotation error on it, is this a common thing for the 10p? I did look online to see if there was any other finds like this but couldn't find anything. Ps keep up the excellent videos.
i like the old 5p. i kinda wish they was still that big, and the 10p bigger. 5ps are tiny. also the 20p because i would of been happy to find it 2 times better than the 10p lol never seen any of those abc coins ever. most people wont even know about them

How do the Royal Mint remove coins from circulation?

I found the letter E 10p not long ago and saw that the mintage was only 94,000. Why does this not make it an incredibly sought after coin?
What a spread of finds 😊
Excellent Alphabets and very nice world/territories 😊
Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻

Hi, Christopher.
Quick question.
Do you have a complete date run of annual sets?
Why are there no values given for alphabet coins?
Absolutely smashed it 👏 👍
