I got the pro box and they put an excite gel priced $10.99 in it and I got some at walmart on clearance for a $1.50 was not happy could of at least put two other lures in for that price.
That Yo-Zuri crystal minnow is pretty solid. The internal “paint job” on their baits holds up amazingly because the exterior can get chewed to heck but the strip in the center stays pristine. Also, the hooks have never failed me on a Yo-Zuri. I only switch them out if I want a blades treble, although those ones are definitely lighter wire because it’s a more finesse size 👍🏼 I would recommend giving it a fair shot on the water

I got in my box a, xcite baits XB-1DD,Duel Hardcore Vibe 75S, Shatter shad blade jig from Mustad, Livingston’s Slingshot and a blue swimmer spinning bait from D.Blade, then 3 eagle claw 4/0 wig hooks
The new camera focuses on the baits up close much better and you can actually see details that were lost in previous videos. I get a lot of the same boxes so I get to see them up close but the new camera makes a big difference if you don’t have the baits in hand to look at. Thanks for upgrading your tech to help us see what you’re showing us! 🙏🏻

Just got my October box up here in BC Canada...and its probably my favorite one yet. Worse looking thing was a Mustad Vibrating Jig. Red Craw lipless....Dobyns Spinnerbaits, XZone dropshot plastic, A pack of sick looking Beast Coast craw/flipping bait, Popping Frog and Westin swimbaits....Not too Shabby Mystery Tackle Box....not to shabby at all...They will all get thrown next season thats for sure

It seems like the mystery boxes are like giving your young son, daughter, or significant other $30 to buy you a gift. Don't know what you're gettin but know you got to use it. At least when I go spend $30, I get what I know I'll be able to use. But who doesn't like Christmas once a month.

Livingston deep divers are super good and I dont really care about the rattle because I always catch fish on them. For the yozuri jerkbait you better change them hooks as I've bent them on whitebass.
Those Livingston lures cranks are money, catch a ton of fish on them. Usually you have the hold the line tie and the bottom treble loop on the bait. Don’t sleep on those cranks bra bra

I've been thinking about the MTB boxes, like should I join or not? and this video proved what I already thought. Your better off just spending the $$$ monthly on ordering baits (tacke warehouse, bass pro etc.) you know will work where you live. The only "mystery" with those boxes is how much money 💰 your actually wasting???
Just about every Livingston lure I've gotten the electronic sound has either not worked or wouldn't stop working and ran out the battery. That said, I caught a 42" muskie the first time I used one of the deep runners and tore up the bass in a pond on one of the topwaters. Also, the Gambler Cricket is an awesome finesse bait.
I think that MTB/Karl’s is based in Texas so that would explain the frogs and other summer baits, that’s why monster bass is great, they have the regional box so they can give you a box of straight Ned rigs, drop shots, finesse jigs and that other stuff that catches bluegill down here🤣🤣🤣
Hello Burly Fishing. Thanks for the unboxing. You can definitely tell you have a new camera. The focus and clarity is amazing. $12.99 for that crankbait is not worth it. Worst bait? Pretty close. The Xcite crankbait hooks are WEAK!! And it makes noise, so it's not silent. That's close to the worst bait in the box. Both of them are way overpriced too. I'm going with the phrog as the worst bait. Like in Michigan, here in Oregon the temps are dropping fast. It was 27 degrees here last night. Top water time is over! Not sure why they would send you a frog/popper where you live at this time of the year. The 'Gambler' plastics bag looks like a sample, or an overrun. Nothing on the label except the color in big print? And the quantity is lame! That box is a fail.
I love top-water frogs but I would be pretty upset about getting a top-water frog in the middle of October to be honest. I know down south, it's still pretty warm right now but here in Minnesota, we've already got snow and 20-30 degree temps. That spinner bait looks real nice though! Hope to see ya catching some with them!
I got a chrome crystal minnow in mine last month and I thought it'd be shallow, but it was plowing the bottom of this 6-7 foot lake I fish. I was hoping it'd be the bait to throw there when I saw it. I wish they said how deep they run on the box 🤔
I can only comment on the dd cricket as the box I got was completely different except for the cricket. It works great for a trailer on a finesse jig. However I only caught rockbass on it. They were monsters for rock bass but I was trying to catch a few smallmouth in between games at a softball tournament.
Really like the yozuri baits. Don’t have the floating jerk bait but I have three of the poppers. Same crystal style bait. I live in Alabama and they killed it all summer long on top water. Hooks held up pretty good. They run about 6 or 7 bucks a piece. Hope you kill it with yours.
I think we’re in the same region but I’m always surprised at how you get so many different baits than I do from the same companies. To be fair though, they ship boxes to both me and my girlfriend at the same address and we get different stuff too...on the same day. Pretty much all the same baits but sometimes in different colors. You get entirely different things in yours and I thought Michigan and Ohio were considered in the same region of the country.
There really isn't much consistency with MTB boxes. Like I said, they send a bunch of different versions each month. No regioonality, hence the frog lol

If you buy a new bait and need to change the hooks to me that is a loser. They bait then costs what it costs +. The Livingston crank. Yeah that is a big fat no. The Frog is okay but pretty late in the year for you I would say. Even pushing it a bit here in East Texas although the will still hit it some I would give this box a 6.5 out of 10.

Sound lures suck, have the same exact experience as you I’ll blow up schools with it and get nothing, if I’m spending $13 on a crank it’s got the moving bill like the 13 jabber jaw or (god willing I get one some day) 6th sense axis, I’ve been MURDERING with the jaberjaw. My silent crank in the box wasn’t silent either lol, great content too by the way

I always give the baits time in the water, no worries. I just go by looks and first impressions on unboxings

Crystal minnow... not a fan. Got one in my in-shore MTB last year. Swims WAY too shallow. Hard to keep it under water.
