I just can't get enough of Larry Braggs great vocals, but this all girl band just knocks me out everytime I watch these TOP Queens . Wow ! just incredible ! Love it, Love it, . And those beautiful girls singing back up, amazing vocals through and through !!
The whole band is talented and extremely funky.. first time listening to them .
The incomparable Larry Braggs is an amazing vocalist and individual and these young women are incredibly talented! Loved this!

Hmmm, idk bout ranking LB as the best, very subjective. Certainly a talented voice. But I've seen TOP, live, from 1974 onward fronted by various singers. Lenny Williams (1) could sing live just like in studio. Always on key. Edward McGee (3T) put on the best show live. Ray Greene was also a short stay but powerful presence. Loved Larry Braggs' endurance and repertoire but he sings this slightly flat at certain points. Understandable, it's Lenny's tune written for his upper nasal range (not Larry's) by Johnny Guitar Watson and Leonard C. Williams, Sr. Nobody could ever do an LW tune like LW.

I too agree. LB's gonna be some shoes to fill.I first saw TOP at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds when I was 12 years old. Rick Stevens was incredible, Bump City was on the charts and on the turntable at home. From that night I've seen them with each singer while growing up and to even share a stage with them playing conventions on Maui with Larry getting my vote after hearing their set that evening in 2014.

I have now heard a few recent recordings of Larry singing totally flat. Whats up with that? I hope he is OK. He used to be one of my favorite TOP vocalists.
He had that problem even back in his days with Tower of Power. Most people don't notice it, especially not when they're at the show themselves. I suppose he's extremely dependent on good monitoring. Here in this video he doesn't have in ears - and seems farely lost, sadly...

This outstanding. Who is this bass player? I have seen other videos that are from the same concert, I think, and there was a different bass player. Everyone else looks like the same personnel. I am a big fan of bass players and now I am not sure which one I like more. Ok, I l like them both! 😉 👍

Like most good vocalists, they think they outgrow the group that put them in the spotlight. So, here he his with his "own" T.O.P (how does he use that name without legal issues?) and appears to be trying to use the appeal of young girls to aid his career. Sure, he is good, they are good. But I'm not impressed with his "change". But, at least he's the "star" now.

Wow, sorry man...Larry Bragg is VERY, VERY "pitchy" ! LIsten to this again, he seriously misses a LOT of notes. A LOT.
