Yasuke, the African Samurai is fascinating to me. I love that you have taught me something new that I didn't know that is within one of my favorite historical eras.

  • @shas1882

The first, and probably only African Samurai fact, blew me away. And not to mention who he was friends with. That's just f****** ridiculously amazing! I bet you did not learn that fact in Japanese schools.

#1 reminded me of my grandmother. Medical issues caused a total loss of taste. She still fixes her usual meals and add a things only because of the texture or crunch. When you really break it down she eats to make hunger go away not to taste anything. That has to take so much away from life.

The problem with the hot coffee case is that it spawned a lot of spin-off cases. Over a decade ago on Long Island, a woman was driving from a McDonald's with the coffee in one hand and the cup leaning on the dashboard. The coffee did spill and she did have cup holders. Laps are one thing to place your coffee, but not your dashboard.

I definitely think the African samurai was the most interesting story. I'm glad this channel exists and hope more like this and Vsauce appear over time. Great video! Surprising fact about the planets fitting in between Earth and the moon. It's kinda like a video in which Veritassium asks people to tell the distance of the moon in relation to Earth using two balls (a basketball and a tennis ball I think), and a lot of people would put it really close, when actually you would have to walk several steps away.
Just to let you know, I'm now subscribed to you even though I have already quite a few susbcriptions, but your channel is really good, so all the best!

I actually saw that video and that's a really good one to bring up! Even though they are far away I still was surprised to learn that all the planets can fit between both earth and the moon a little over 50% of the time.
I do have quite a few subscribers but I still try to make time to talk to you guys because if the viewers that making the videos worth making! :) So I want to personally thank you for wanting to stick around! That means a lot to me! Have a good one Sergio!

not quite the same vowel as sauce (even back when Japanese had more vowels, the a wouldn't have been different), but yes, the u would not have been pronounced. Basically it'd be Yas-keh.

+Jim Gallagher Back when this happened. I hated McDonald's coffee. One it took to long to cool enough to drink it plus it always tasted burnt. A couple of years after this. They did start to lower the temp. Now their coffee is no hotter then what you get at home.

For years I've heard comedians joke about it & talk shows say it was all her fault. Only in the last few years has this attitude changed. Thank you for helping folks to understand what happened to her. And yes, you're a cutie.!.

So you just accept things as "not real" just because proof has yet to be found? Do you know how many great scientific discoveries would NOT have been made if everyone had your mind set? Lol. Here's the thing... In order to find Proof you must first start with evidence and both theories have that by the boat load. Just because we haven't acquired irrefutable proof does NOT mean something isn't real. You my friend are just closed minded. Unexplainable things have happened... You can't deny that. So why write any possibility off? You would have to "know everything" in order to make such claims. Hence the assumption...

That's what happens when you're trying to get videos out on a weekly basis yet all of them involve different amounts of research. Over 50 hours on top of my regular life. haha "Carthedge" is because I used speech to text software. And I don't even know how it shows that over the original Carthage, but it did. I don't even know I had pronounced Tunisia wrong, I read it said it and didn't even think twice about it.
Though I do understand these errors, is only so much I can catch my view all of this by myself sadly.
I really appreciate you taking the time to point these out because I make me realize I still need to focus on checking things more and more and more, but I don't have a big production crew, I don't have a lot of free time, but still try my very best and hopefully as time goes on things will get better. But Rome wasn't built in a day. haha
