- I played a cricket match at the Desert Springs Oval in Spain! I used my GoPro to document the match which was played at a fantastic venue. What a priviledge to score a century on such a special ground.

On Alistair's 99*, I can honestly say that I would not take the bails off as the wicketkeeper to let him take the century. It only costs you one run - off the last ball of the innings. I think that in village cricket level, this is what should have been done...
true but sometimes one run can make a difference in t20's...we've seen it so many times internationally and in domestic leagues
@@ImElytra I understand your point, and most certainly in a professional game, you have to try to concede as few runs as possible. However, in a non professional circumstance the possibility of giving someone the pure satisfaction of reaching a milestone on the last ball of the game, for only one run saved, I would not remove the bails.
@@bobbopeers3815 that's true, i see what you mean. I've experienced it firsthand actually, as I once got lbwed for 99 and believe me, it feels horrible

Good to be able to see a century from you Gareth. You had to stay cool and hit that kind of bowling. Easy to get bowled by a beamer. New season starts in Kent this week, weather permitting, but still chilly. So heres looking forward to scoring some runs again, where you play in the midlands. Imagine you'll be playing for the same team again. France first though which you would by now have played in. Gibraltar is not as warm as Spain, and their season really does begin the same time as in england

Great innings Gareth! Great focus to capitalize on the bad balls - hard to maintain focus with the moon balls though. Did you find that the injured finger generally helped a little with not trying to overhit the ball?

I use gopro hero 10 for the helmet cam and Panasonic camcorder for the side cam 👌 I record the whole match with the side cam...

Hey, how do you get so much battery life out of your gopro when batting? I have the same setup but died after an hour in the middle

I don't record all the time.
I have an extra battery in my pocket
