This is a beautiful episode: Role of the Saints, thank you Fr. Chris. Deepest thanks also to the different personalities who contributed and shared their experiences on how the mercy of Jesus touched and changed their lives. Oh, my Jesus, you guide and lead each person in a silent way without knowing it, till the right time comes to make your revelation. Learning from the lives of the Saints, it’s very inspiring to strive to reach to the height of sanctity. For me, I could only do it by humbly doing the daily ordinary routine, offering it to Jesus Divine Mercy with the help of the Virgin Mary and the intercession of the Saints. But, it needs a complete resignation to God’s Holy Will, because He doesn’t want a half - half offering of oneself, it must our All. God is with us.

A beautiful idea! I’m always looking for podcasts about Saints to listen to while I work. I’ve read some Saints lives books- St Catherine Sienna, St Joan of Arc (Mark Twain’s version), St Padre Pio... just love hearing about their struggles and such, and yet they turned even more towards God!

Growing up watched my older late bro lived for 24 yrs w/ similar condition of Courtney’s. Acceptance & total surrender to God also kept us going. So nice to see Br Harrison & Catalina, & can’t thank you enough for the double blessing between you & Fr. Ken. Thank you!😇
One of my favorite things about being Catholic, apart from the Sacraments of course, is the communion of saints. It’s a comfort of knowing others are constantly looking out for us and we are able to look for them in return. I didn’t realize how much I appreciated it until hearing others demonize praying to saints as necromancy and all that. It’s like having an army of siblings who I can look up to when I’m confused or lost, and who want the best for me. Honestly, I feel great pity and sadness for those who reject such a great gift of the Church in Heaven. Courtney’s story had me choked up throughout the whole segment. 😭 She seemed to be such an amazing witness on trusting in God and not let suffering keep us from His joy. So often children and people like Courtney are overlooked, or even discarded, but they are often the best witnesses of joy, trust, innocence, patience, and simplicity that God provides. Bless her and her parents for accepting those burdens and offering them to God 🙏 Br. Harrison will for sure be in my prayers as he continues his lessons and vocation. I’m sure his loved ones are praying for him unceasingly as well 🙏 May all of us help grow God’s kingdom here on earth.
