My search for new talent has been on over the last few years. I recently attended an event where I met a lady who was substituting for the regular singer. I heard her sing and liked what I heard. After her performance, I asked her if she would like to try recording a Konkani hymn.
"The son of man came to seek and to save the lost" - Luke 19:10
This Hymn is based on the gospels of Luke and Mathew and speaks about a shepherd who had a flock of a hundred sheep. One sheep wandered off and got lost. The shepherd left the ninety-nine sheep and went to seek that lost sheep. I am that lost sheep who strayed from the right path to lead a sinful life. Jesus came in search of me, leaving behind his other ninety-nine sheep. All we need to do is surrender to our good shepherd, and he will save us.
"JeZu Boria Gonvllia" means Jesus, The Good Shepherd. I present this Hymn sung by Raissa Fernandes.
