Hi Ally, I've drove by An Teallach several times and you stop and look up and cannot but be impressed by this mountain. To climb it and walk it is nothing short of remarkable. The geology in this area would blow your mind. Those still images at the end of this video says it all mate. Regards.

John this is a remarkable mountain range when I got to the top of the first munro and looked over to the ridge I was stunned just sat staring over never seen a mountain like it, its a day I will remember just a but gutted the wind was so strong I never got over the ridge had to take the bypass path which was still scary at parts but will be back some day to take on the ridge. Lovely mountain that Ally👍 one of the finest views in Scotland. Glad you got the views Ally altho looked very windy.
You made the right choice as it could be very gusty up on the pinnacles and not the place to be alone.
Look forward to your next vid on yer wee adventure North.

An Amazing Mountain range Frank Could have just sat there all-day looking across to the pinnacles , was really windy with gusts so didn't feel safe doing it on my own but gives me an excuse to go back to an amazing mountain think i will do it in reverses the next time. ATB Ally 👍

Cracking Ally!! Amazing views, pity about the wind! It was windy the day we did it but we had ropes and the benefit of numbers!! A few of my friends attempted the fisherfield last Friday and abandoned it too! Was that the same day!! Anyway great video again mate!! Paul

Hi Paul , it was the Thursday the day before i was on An Teallach, i attempted fisherfield on the Wednesday and had to turn back as on way the winds and rain was horrendous the clag was in as well so ended up at ullapool that day. was gutted not to get over the pinnacles but i was getting blowen about with the gusts of wind there was groups of people doing it but no point taking risks, the wee bypass path was still a good walk still exposed at the one side. ATB Ally 👍

Great video Ally of probably Britain's finest mountain. I'm lucky to have been up twice but have had a couple of fails for a third time due to wild weather moving in. Wise to leave the pinnacles for another day in that wind. Enjoyed tagging along. Take care. Mick.

Hi Mick, Its a Cracking mountain range the shapes a ruggedness of the mountains are superb , the weather would have been just right if not for the winds. would have been great to do the pinnacles , there was some other people doing it in groups but i was my self and didn't want to to take any risks gives me an excuse to got back. 👍 ATB Ally

Hi Ally. Cant believe i never seen this video. Cracking video mate. Am looking to do this in September. Booked a couple of nights away for myself to bag a couple of munros. I won't be taking my bike. So would it be a long walk back to the car? Or would I better double back on myself after doing the 2nd munro? I won't be doing the ridge as I don't fancy doing it myself. But wouldn't mind the bypass. Will be catching up on you recent videos soon.

Hi mate you will love it mate is possible the best view you can get looking over at the ridge. If you start where I started at the mountain rescue centre at dundonnell the path starts there and goes all the way to the first one then down and up to the second one then you can double back so you still get the munros with out he ridge walk. The bypass path is still exposed at one side but good if your OK with hights. To do the route I done it's a long route all the way back down to the lay by then it's a 10 to 20mins on the bike from what I can remember but there's no path to walk . I think doing the 2 munros and double back gets you all the views you would want mate. Atb Ally 👌 👍

Very enjoyable watch ~ most looked doable for me but some sections looked too much for me. The vistas looked spectacular. I suspect your using 24fps 1/50th could I suggest using 30fps 1/60 as your panning shots were a bit juddery. Well worth watching ~ I've just subscribed and Liked.

Hi James thanks for the subscription, this was a great walk a few scary bits on this walk aswell but loved it , thanks for the advice still getting used to the camera have had it on the 24fps setting and was wondering if that was causing the juddering so going to change to the 30fps, my next video is in 24fps but will certainly change to the 30fps next time out ATB Ally 👍

@@Allysmountainwalks6462 I had the same issue initially using 25 but 30 works for me; double your shutter speed I.e. 30fps is 1/60 or as near as pos. What camera do you use?
