Been working on this since 2022, and its hard to believe i have 7 months remaining to have this complete. 7 months might seem like its a long time, but when you been working on something for that long, it really isn't that far a way. I went through all the troubles and mistakes of this build but improved in building and haven't made a mistake since putting the engine on the wrong way. 😂
Hey John, it's looking good. erm just a question, john, on the eddie stobart Build, my last delivery was in Apr. Do you have any ideas on what's happening to the last 6 issues
The build is looking fantastic John. I might have mentioned before, I subscribed but haven't started building it as I thought I'd do it as my first project after I retire. I thought the issues lasted until 1 month before that date. However, it actually finishes 1 year before I retire! (Maths was never my strong point, lol!). But not to worry, I have the Lancaster (metal) & the 1966 Batmobile as well, & I'm building them as they arrive. So I'm using your Titanic build as a 'whistle whetter'.
John pretending to be Superman, is it a bird, is it a plane, it's a ship!😂 Well done John fab video mate! Think we need to build a dry dock John, though I have to wait now for my next four parts, but she is looking fabulous. And always great to watch you John. 👍✅🍻😊
looks amazing! i remember commenting on one of your videos about a year ago asking for advice because i wasnt sure about doing this project because of all the missing issues on hachette but i managed to get them in the end and im all caught up! i'm loving this build! So much fun!
Excellent stuff John! I'm always excited when your next four issues are published on TH-cam. I'm currently working on issues 72 to 75. Watching your progress is motivating for me. In regard to the plastic ladders (stairs), I removed them and replaced them with photo etch, including the ones to access the deck where the compass platform is. I think they look much better as they include hand rails. I know not everyone will want to replace them. It's quite fiddly as you have to replace parts of the decking where the plastic stairs have been removed, bend the PE stairs and paint them. Keep up the great work John! 😊
I have started Issue 2 of m build with Hachette, but havent done the issue 1 with the few items that needed switching out, but also need to get some wood glue for the deck, but as soon as I get to the Issue 100 I would then start to get on with the building of the beautiful model of a lady the RMS TITANIC...I have all the issues I have at the moment which need me to build think am up to issue 56 which is great, so when issues come out for the build of the stern, is when am thinking on starting my build...but not sure as to when I will start as I live in a caravan, and by loooking at this video, WOW!!! Where am I going to put it LMAO but great video John thankyou
