@@AbeM-jm8yo I see,, when I grew up in LA, San Pedro used to be a place where my grandma, who loved to fish, would take us. It was a smal, quiet enclave of little significance, where it was very affordable to live, let alone have any kind of gang and nobody gave much thought to it. The Crips I remember (whom I'd like to forget but CAN'T, because of the MANY BFS I knew that either THEY maimed OR killed for NO REASON), definitely weren't interested in being anywhere near there. I think at one time there was a Naval station there and a known place where prostitutes would pick up sailors, that was the reputation San Pedro had.
