    A word of advice, one of those North American Leagues is not like the others. The Canadian Premier League is the least of those 3 leagues. MLS has 3 Canadian clubs in it; Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. The CPL is to the MLS, what the Irish Top league is to the EPL.
    I say you go to South America to work on your Spanish, then you can tick off North America (via Mexico) and Europe (via Spain) without ever learning another language! Si Senor Chapman.

  • @swbaxter13
    @swbaxter13 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Mexico's a good call. Having seen the way you handle finances in other saves, I don't think you'll have much luck under MLS' salary cap rules. If this weren't a speedrun type situation, I'd say go to the CPL and try to win CONCACAF from there - that is both a big challenge and a lot of fun IME - but that will probably take a few more years than you want to spend on one continent.
    South America is also a fun place to play, and should be relatively quick if you get into one of the big Brazilian or Argentinian clubs.

    This year's problems will certainly be more difficult. Looking back, I realized that I was so preoccupied with my portfolio that I made bad financial mistakes throughout the previous year. I had to decide between boosting my investments and buying a house. After deciding to sell my investments, I learned that the home I had purchased needed more maintenance than I had anticipated. Trying to figure out how much longer I can tolerate this is becoming more difficult

      Invest in companies that provide current cash flows to diversify your portfolio. I hired a planner at the end of 2023 to help me grow my portfolio, and in the last 8 months, I've profited in over 50,000 distinct marketplaces. If 2023 teaches us anything, it's that luck does not endure forever. Even in times of abundance, we should put more effort into preparing for the worst case situation.

    Currently slogging it out for the UAE title. If I do not get it I don't mind the sound of trying to win the Asian Confederations cup (their Europea eqivalent).

    Canadian Premier League is the worst of the available choices so I would avoid that league outright.
    MLS rules don't really play nice with the FM AI which means winning there becomes very easy once you get your head around them. This would lead to an easier road to the CONCACAF Champions Cup but a harder time actually winning it.
    So I would say go to Mexico. Because the somewhat more traditional squadbuilding rules make actually winning the CONCACAF Champions Cup a lot more realistic while also having a bit more traditional (instead of rules based) challenge in the league.

    I'm going to do a Pentagon challenge combined with Build a Nation somewhat, with a realistic rule for myself basically I cannot go to countries that have anti gay laws, so say any country that criminalizes homosexuality I cannot coach there. It would not make sense for me in real life to do it. I am also including Oceania as a Federation in this one and so my aim is to create a database for Bhutan and basically allow the Bhutanese league to be used as my first league, my aim is to eventually take Bhutanese players to Europe and the way I'm representing that is if I win the Asian Champions Leagues or any Asian tournaments I will actually improve the youth rating of the country and add a bit more money overall to the country thus allowing for that to represent Bhutan actually becoming a decent Footballing nation because I find Dynamic youth rating not very accurate in terms of what it is actually saying.

      @@lollujo A. It could just as easily be the Hexagon Challenge
      B. The point is to win all the Champions Leagues, not doing Oceania because SI won't put in any teams from there seems counter productive

    • @bananarama3624
      @bananarama3624 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@williamcross210 I'm from NZ. Whilst it would be cool to give more recognition to oceanic sides, Oceania just sucks, Australia plays in Asia and the gap in ability between NZ (who already suck compared to Australian teams) and the rest of Oceania (e.g. Fiji) is so vast. Poor Oceania is caught between a rock and a hard spot in world football. Australia always won the Oceania champs, before deciding to go to Asia because they were that good. New Zealand now always wins because there is no other team close enough to them, but we never play any other big teams so we can never challenge ourselves and beat bigger international teams on a regular basis and don't have an automatic entry to the WC (they are changing the rules to it).
      I know that a hexagonal challenge isn't to do with international management but this is to give you an idea why oceania isn't part of the challenge (plus Oceania is always forgotten about! Heck, NZ often is missing from world maps!)

  • @cliomckenzie
    @cliomckenzie หลายเดือนก่อน

    The CPL is way too hard a challenge for this ‘speedrun’ format. The foreign player rules are very restrictive, there is little money, and the domestic talent pool is questionable at best. If you want to do it the easy way, Mexico is your place. If you like a reasonable challenge, try MLS. If you want to string the series out… Central America?
