Nafplio was the first capital of independent Greece. It's a charming seaside town with beautiful architecture, loads of history and several amazing places to visit in the surrounding countryside, such as world-renowned archaeological sites and wineries.
Nafplio has always been a favourite day trip destination among Athenians. However, in this video, we show you why it would be best to spend a couple of days - or even more - in Nafplio instead of visiting on a day trip from Athens.

I've been to Greece maybe a half dozen times, and Nafplio is one of my favorites; also was a favorite of our whole family when we visited together last year. Will always look forward to visiting again, hopefully soon! Great video!

Κολοκοτρώνη που είναι το πρώτο που φιλοτέχνησε ο γλύπτης Λάζαρος Σώχος της Αθήνας είναι αντίγραφο ) Το άγαλμα του Ι .Καποδίστρια Πρώτου Κυβερνήτη της Ελλάδας και αρκετά άλλα !!! Ζητώ συγνώμη για το μακροσκελές σχόλιο !!!
