I beat angry munchi once in construct all I did was just hide underground and patiently wait for the round to end

6:25 actually Munci is pressumably easy on Traprooms (except if you get trapped and he's on the other side of the door)
I love how people assume Angry Munci and Lurking is hard, no, they are not. Lurking is stupidly easier than Survive bobo, while Munci can be hard but not THAT hard, specially if you have a strategy (like on Desert Bus or Jungle). Some maps you can camp without problem (Arid Ruins, Crossroads, Drab)

Just play more and you become used to it. I used to stress over it too but now i like when the bot chases me because it's fun to dodge 😭
