Miranda, you’ve done nothing wrong don’t talk believe about anything anyone says you only did the right thing for your fans by sticking up to them saying no flash photography. @@etheloatman9466selfie mode has a flash and most people doing selfies do MANY takes. Imagine the distraction for such a heartfelt song and the impact on the performance for literally everyone except the selfie takers.
Did Miranda or security make note of their no flash photography policy before the show starts, loudly with a microphone? Or there were any documentation when you bought the tickets of this policy? I think if it's just in small writing on the back of the ticket or sth, many people probably can't see it or will overlook it. I think after this debacle, Miranda and Bakkt Theater need to re-evaluate how they can effectively and tactfully handle phones and photography from fans at her performances.
@@hkristin0710 Yes, that's the thing. If they took a group photo sitting with no flash, they likely would've went unnoticed. The photo quality may have not been good, but you can still get photos earlier or later. But soooo many people do retakes bc somehow the photo got messed up, or they change their mind and wanna do different photos with different people. From the TMZ vid of an actual attendee, it shows these women did at least 3 flash photos: 2 had the 6 of them, 1 had 2 of them. For many people, it takes a lot of time to get prepared for a photo, too: right pose, right lighting, right angling, grooming, etc. And then, there's the editing. This all takes time, so when I saw that the TMZ video from an actual attendee said they were up there for minutes instead of seconds, I believe them. I agree with much of what you said. However, the consequences? Miranda got some bad publicity, and there are quite a lot of people on SM mad about it. However, I’ve checked the reviews for her on Ticketmaster. 4.5 out of 5 on ~9k reviews. Most of the recent reviews were positive, and some called out these women. One reviewer said a lady in the audience had to ask another lady to stop recording every song. Another reviewer was at this nefarious show who said they were in the pit, near these women. She maybe could’ve requested, “Hey, for everyone’s enjoyment, can we all put the flash photography away until the song is over? I'm waiting for @AvrilLavigne to record a country album, with only female collaboration like Miranda, Lainey & maybe Meghan Patrick (2 canadiennes, making country rock, sounds great)
Imagine paying all that money to get front row tickets to a concert, just to have the entitled performer mock you in front of everyone because you were takin a pic
Imagine being so selfish, irresponsible, inappropriate and demanding that you think buying a ticket means you have every freedom/space at a concert, regardless of how it affects others. A ticket is a rental, not an ownership. Tickets are contract where you’re renting a spot and an ability to hear her sing - no more, no less. And that contract doesn’t override or nullify Miranda’s right to boundaries for the peace and safety of her shows. VIP may have more privileges, but still not ownership. That contract comes with reasonable standards of behavior that are often made known publicly and reminded. For example, Bakkt Theater (where this took place) has a rules page. It states for personal photos, it is up to the performer, but recommends shutting off or silencing electronic devices. If you respect these boundaries, you’re free to do whatever at the concert. So, Taking a selfie, making a memory, documenting your experience are fine, but those were never the issues here. Bc if you watch in her concert clips, people are recording all the time. Read accounts of people being at her concerts, and people take selfies. If people couldn't take selfies at Miranda's concerts, you wouldn't see so many on social media, even if they snuck them. Miranda shows patience and openness bc these people aren’t negatively affecting the peace, safety and functionality of a show. Which from reading and seeing other videos from actual concert-goers that day, these women were being highly disruptive in a very imposing, inappropriate manner. They took multiple flash pics, standing while most on their level were sitting as a group, for minutes before she even started Tin Man in a mostly dark theatre as the show was ending. As it’s Miranda’s show, she can civilly and appropriately challenge these issues. While she was a bit blunt and abrasive with her critique, she was right on. She could’ve maybe done it as a general request or similar, but she was still right on. Some people mentioned having security deal with it, which they may have already been there. And having security discreetly handle it may have still caused a debacle, especially with potential confusion from audience members who don’t know what’s going on or love the drama and want to play the victim. If these women were embarrassed, they brought it on themselves.
The experience of other people who paid just as much to be there matters just as much. It is selfish and unfair to think only your experience matters bc you paid. Also, the issue here was never Miranda expecting or demanding all eyes are on her every second of the concert. Again, she’s aware people are human and due to various reasons, can’t pay attention the whole time. People need to check phone for emergencies, go to the bathroom, get tired, and other things happen. She fairly and patiently allows many to take pics like I said. But when it’s extreme like in this situation, she rightfully got fed up. These women may have not done the act maliciously, but still behaved with a lack of situational awareness (evident with a TMZ with one of them) that night and didn't take any personal responsibility for the disruption they caused. Instead, Adela went on to play the victim. The only ones who were wrong were these women.

Why are the lyrics playing on the stage in front of them lol hahaha
They were supposed to split the parts

I don't ever want to be at your concert just to feel like some child being scolded by some teacher. when I go to a concert,I want to be entertained and do as I please, especially if I pay good money for it. Get over yourself. I'd rather go to a Louiethesinger concert where everyone can take as many selfies as they want and still enjoy his performance and feel like a Boss!! You done lost me as a Fan Miranda,.. sooo disappointing

You think she cares if one person doesn’t like her? Lol. She does things out of the kindness of her heart for everyone. Don’t like her? Don’t pay attention.
