148 (PES C) intake here, thanks for making this guide! The NS experience in the Home Team is rarely talked about, and it's about time someone did an enlistment guide video for SPF! Perhaps one day someone will do one for SCDF too! Some additional points for those who are enlisting as PES C (to the best of my knowledge from my time in 2012 - 2014, may have had some changes since then): - It will mostly be the same, eg, taking criminal law lessons, but the major difference is that your POBC will be reduced to 8-9 weeks, and you will be exempted from IPPT, PDT, SBA and swimming. Some of you may take up shooting lessons if deemed fit by the MO. - Foot drill will be executed in silent drill mode, meaning no banging of feet. Although towards the end of my POBC the OC PNSF Coy implemented a new rule for PES C to bang their feet. Did not have to raise 90 degrees specifically, but were told to just do it "smartly". Pretty sure this may have flip flopped over the years. - The FI and Coy Com cannot punish you with push ups. However, they do find other creative ways to punish you if you screw up or try to be funny, like make you stand in the rain in your rain coats for a very long time. - Frontline vocations are definitely out of the question, so it's a 95% chance you will be deployed as an SA, but it seems in recent years you may be deployed as a CE officer, as I have during my reservist. So in general, your NS experience will be quite chill, although you will miss out quite a bit of the fun stuff. If you're one of the few who can take up shooting (like myself), then I guess the experience of handling firearms will definitely make things a bit more exciting. From this video series, it seems that the enlistees these day all have so much better life than from my time. To those who are enlisting, all the best!
191 here, the powerbank rule is removed alr, you can bring as many as you want though if your FI chibai he will ask you why, but technically there is nothing wrong.

After the ceremony i still couldn't find him. Approach a guy with major rank, he tried to smoke me saying he's doing admin so i kept hounding him lol. Later i saw a prison van drive in, a couple of enlistees were hauled in and they were transferred to SCDF. Never even got to talk to him. We were only told he was going to SCDF and will be taken care of, no specifics. Nothing else to do but to go home. After BMT confinement my brother told me he was singled out cos of tattoos. During the inpro & ceremony, the rejected enlistees were ushered into a room for interrogation. He had full back and sleeve before CMPB appt, no idea why they still send him to SPF(we did call hotline but they say its fine, there were no errors). He had no prior records too. Waste of time really, travel all the way there from the east side for nothing. But it was fun watching my sister & my brother's best friend scolding the major. He kena gaolat. Really cockup.
hi kaizer! was wondering how many sets of civilian clothes to bring for the first 3-4 days, and are they all supposed to be t-shirt and long pants? thanks!
Just bring as many sets as you want but not too many,first few days you will wear your civilian cloths but after few days you will get to wear the spf issued items.After confinement period just bring 3-5 sets as the only time you wear civilian cloths are mostly for your otot period
Great video, was just wondering, when checking for explicit messages/photos, what exactly would be considered explicit? For messages, do they literally count any message with a curse word as explicit? Or does it strictly have to do with camp (complaining,talking shit,etc)? And for photos, would they punish you for anything generally explicit/inappropriate, or are they looking strictly for in-camp photos? Sorry for the lengthy question.

I can't rly give you any tips since I didn't went for the inspector course haha but I guess the course is pretty similar to the NS one just more law lessons and other stuffs yes, also will have SBA and foot drills and no ofc, females will stay in female-only bunks
@@desireeann2745 they have female haircut, where you can get haircut there. For unarmed tactics most probably you will be partnering with females only and same goes to body search. Especially countries like sg, they will take good care of girls so you don't have to worry. Some more you are future senior officer, they will give you vip treatment.
192 C1 here. POP'ed on the 7th Oct. PLEASE legit don't fail the 3rd IPPT and clear before Passing Out since I still have some squad mates after 5 months haven't pass their IPPT and their posting is affected. I don't think you want to come back HTA again just for RT and IPPT.
To all new TSCs: DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED BLANKET bring your own one. that shit is for display only unless you are super confident that you can fold it in under 30s during surprise bunk inspection/changing parade wtv punishment yall get XD

I believe it's more towards porn and stuff, they won't really punish you but will ask you to delete it in front of them (from what I saw)
