Ricad Hutapea has performed at various music festivals in the country such as Java Jazz Festival (2010-2014), Jak Jazz (2013), Indonesian Jazz Festival (2013), Jazz Goes to Campus (2011, 2013) Jazz Mountains (2014), Jazz Buzz Salihara (2014), Porch Jazz (2013-2014). He appears on one stage together with famous jazz musicians like Indra Group, Tohpati & Friends, Monita Tahalea & The Nightingales, Art of Tree; Ricad played saxophone in solo album Tohpati (Song for You), Indro Hardjodikoro (New Stories), Yoseph Sitompul (Waiting) and senior jazz singer Jenny De Fretes (Embraceable Moments). Ricad has made his own recording of two singles by DJ Andezzz.
Saxophone becomes a part of his soul and involving in the choir is the first step to end the album "Jalan Pertama”.
